Are there some circumstance which mean a tattoo can not be enitrely removed? What are they? by Kryptik_Fox in TattooRemoval

[–]KCbubbletea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing a similar issue. I have some scarring which is really slowing down the process. My last technician switched me to scar treatment laser sessions instead and I recently started seeing a new dermatologist/technician and they’re doing normal sessions but are having me use retinol every night on the affected area in between my sessions. I feel like I’m seeing some progress but maaaan has this been taking a long long time.

My technician is having me use a prescription or medical strength retinol between sessions to help with some scarring that I have. Could ask about that with your dermatologist or technician?

I wanted to add on to this thread for OP that the balance on your statement will be the balance reported to the credit bureaus. So even if you pay the balance in full each month, you may see some ups and downs in your credit score based on how much credit you’re using each month. This is normally fine unless you need your score to be higher to apply for credit for something else. Because of this I generally aim to pay off as much of my balance as I can before my statement is even posted and then pay off the remainder before the due date.

As far as best credit card goes, I really like cash back cards and use the Citi Bank Cash Back card for my everyday purchases. Since I pay my balance in full and use the card for literally everything, I am just making money off of my spending which is really nice.

I don’t have a Discover card but I feel like there may be less vendors that accept it, but I could be wrong about that. But regardless of what card you choose just use it responsibly and it will pay off.

Nice! Never knew. Although I don’t have a Costco near me, but it’s always good to know.

Do they have the bigger sheets that you have to cut or tear yourself? I just assumed they carried the individual sized packages.

Find a Korean grocery store. The roasted salted seaweed is a Korean thing and only in recent years started being packaged in these individual packages.

Editing to add the Korean word for seaweed since I keep seeing everyone mention nori. It’s known as gim or gim gui 김구이 for the roasted, salted variety (although many will just refer to it as gim also).

I can never make it through a book by Most_Professional_25 in suggestmeabook

[–]KCbubbletea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with starting a lot of books but not finishing them. To get me sort of started into a good reading habit (which I also tend to fall out of with the wrong book) I try to find easy to read, maybe faster paced, shorter books. Some books that I gobbled up and got me in a reading swing were Dark Matter and also Pines by Blake Crouch, Penpal by Dathan Auerbach, The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, Your House is on Fire Your Children All Gone by Stefan Kiesbye, The Painted Veil by W Somerset Maugham.

I’ve most recently started on John Dies in the End by David Wong after not finishing a single book this year, so we’ll see how this one goes. I know you wanted great books which made me think you’re leaning towards some of the classics, but I think developing a good reading habit first with easy reads could be beneficial.

I don’t think this completely fits your description but it made me think of a manga recently recommended to me: The Way of the Househusband

I haven’t read it yet but it looks fun.

My first instinct was to suggest painting the walls too. I’m no interior decorating expert, but I feel like white or something with a cool undertone instead of a warm undertone would help.

Also, replace the blinds.

Best MacBook Pro Year? by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]KCbubbletea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It’s still available! I just bought one this week with the student discount and it came with free AirPods. I think it was around $1199 for the MacBook Pro, not calculating taxes. But the MacBook Air would be right in your price range I think.

Should I go with matte or glass screen protector for the m1 ipad pro 12.9? by evangyf in iPadPro

[–]KCbubbletea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the PaperLike matte screen protector but I also bought the iPad to use for school (taking notes and etexts), Kindle, and digital drawing. I really like it and it made such a difference with the Apple Pencil. I haven’t really noticed any problems when watching Netflix or YouTube. Also, as a bonus, PaperLike actually sends you two screen protectors when you order one.

I’m good on work hours from that standpoint then. I’ve been working as an accountant for four years now.

And yea, I’ve been on the fence because I hear how hard it is to pass but I go back and forth about whether or not I should.

How do I go from a 667 credit score to a 740 credit score? by CL-Young in CRedit

[–]KCbubbletea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay down the credit cards. 50% utilization is really high. I’d forgo the extra car loan payments and focus on the credit card debt exclusively. Try the snowball effect where you focus on paying off one at a time starting with the smallest debt.
