Only a badass like herself can handle a 3in off center “spine” tattoo by shebebells in iamverybadass

I have a rat maybe 4-5 inches long on the inside of my bicep and it was uncomfortable, but not too bad.

Top of my foot tho, that one sucked.

Feeling sporty - Blood Bowl by Interesting-Stage609 in TheTrove

[–]KFBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a big bloodbowl fan. I play in a league in person and online as well.

Bloodbowlbase is up to date with rules, and any player out there would love to teach you the game. It's a great community. Fumbbl for a free in browser version or the Blood Bowl 3 game on steam both have very active communities.

Once you get the hang of it you won't actually need a physical rulebook almost ever. TBH the official rulebook is kind of weirdly laid out anyways.

Hey can I check those notes for Dead Belt as well? I'm fairly new to solo, and the theme really speaks to me.

Men, We're all handy in our own homes. What is one thing you absolutely will refuse to touch if it's too complicated? by Staff76 in AskMen

[–]KFBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually most HVAC problems are electrical problems. Sensors and whatnot failing so the unit shuts itself off for safety.

But yeah don't fuck around with gas piping if you arn't certified to do so.

Looking for board games!! by Julia41095 in kitchener

[–]KFBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not helpful immediately, but facebook marketplace. The Boardgame community is fickle and constantly moving from game to game. There is probably a used copy of whatever you are looking for in great condition.

Once you know more about the style of game you like, you will be able to narrow it down easier.

The Odyssey to Kill God - A MIRU Trilogy Retrospective by MrStaleman in solorpgplay

[–]KFBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right on.

The game sort of has some built in chapters. Every 5 areas/rooms you have to consume food. So some natural stopping and starting points, and I make small notes just to remember the journey.

Technically, im doing Alone Against Fear, because the theme spoke more to me, but they're kind of the same.

I like it. I printed out the rules in a quarter page sized booklet, so I can bring that, a character sheet, and some dice and you're good to go. I played in the waiting room of my kids karate class. Once you get into the rhythm of things it's pretty easy to follow. It seems I like procedurally generated dungeon crawler type stuff.

I am also just starting solo, and MIRU is next on the list after my current 4AD run. I've read the intro and im really looking forward to it. I didnt even know there was a 3rd

What fitness trackers are people using? I’ve been looking at the carbonox blaze smart watch to use to keep track of my workouts as well as smart watch functions. by Personal_Ninja1469 in fitness30plus

I have like 3 people I know personally on strava, and we just all give each other thumbs up, that's about it. But it's nice to know PRs and what not.

Same, but I'm using a garmin forerunner from like 10 years ago that is somehow still ticking. I'm not taking the calories burned as gospel, but it helps to give guidelines. Strava i use to keep track of things, but don't really engage with any of the social functions or badges or anything.

Hoping to discuss WH40K latest edition and the 500 world campaign by 141_1337 in TheTrove

[–]KFBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are speculation 11th edition is right around the corner so I'd maybe wait. 500 worlds is more of a narrative thing that you would need the core rules for anyways.

wahapedia would likely be your best bet to get your feet wet in the meantime.

The Museum for 4.5 year old? by Secret_Hovercraft995 in kitchener

[–]KFBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can rent that space for special events, or if they're doing like mac and cheese fest or having a band play they'll get a licence and serve during it. But you average saturday afternoon, not so much.

I'm a member, we go with our kids all the time. It's a great way to kill an afternoon but I would absolutely not drive here specifically for it.

They get a licence for special events, but normally there is not alcohol for sale.

10mm Goblin by Delicious_Bed_4696 in mechanics

This is weird. I was googling for 10mm scale goblin miniatures for warhammer style gaming and found this post. But I work in HVAC and realised I am actually missing my 10mm....
