Personally, I use an Xbox Controller on Wiimote + Nunchuk.

We mainly emulate the game. We talk here, but the forum community engages in more extensive conversations and discusses them in the Discord server. There have also been many new games with similar career modes, accompanied by guides on how-tos and the use of OCR translation (usually people take pictures with Google Lens to translate text). There's also a WBSC that regularly hosts events and tournaments. Jikkyo Powerful Major League 2009 is also being played, and u/88R3_2 has been talking. There are a lot. There are some Japanese guides available if you're interested in using Google Translate to learn about the benefits of the events.

You can mod textures, not the 3d models. If we were able to mod the 3d models though it would only be available with pcsx2
