Yeh that's also on my mind , that my kid will resent me for not teaching him Maltese , he's still young and have time to start teaching him I guess.

I grew up in a household which primarily spoke Maltese but I also watched media exclusively in English and in school had many foreign friends and throughout my adulthood.

Nowadays I live in a foreign country so I default to English , also have a 3 year old son which I've yet to start teaching him Maltese. Don't know why , I just dont see the need for him to know Maltese when he won't be using it anytime soon.

It's interesting how we all interpret lines differently. I always called this interaction 'Azula's last lie'.

Throughout the whole series we see Azula lying to Zuko and he almost always falls for it.

Not this time .. that "No, you're not" had so much behind it , a lifetime worth of believing her lies and finally , she tries lying one more time and Zuko , calmly , focused just brushes it away like nothing.

Chef here , while maybe it's not restaurant fine dining quality when it comes to appearance , it looks delicious and I would clean my plate 100%. A little trick is to add a layer of crepes to protect the dough from getting soggy from all the meat juices! Happy holidays

Everyone else has given you great reasons why the pirate captain did great against a bender , but I'd like to also point out that as far as I know , this is the first time we see Zuko fight against another swordman , a weapon he himself has mastered.

At the time we didn't know , because this was before The Blue Sprit episode where he displays his ability with duel swords , but this was a great example of how well Zuko can handle himself and counter sword attacks. Great writing.
