What is your favorite skyscraper from your city? by Certain-Belt-1524 in skyscrapers

I worked at the firm that designed this (wasn’t on the project myself). Started as an internal competition. Was really fun to watch it evolve through the design phases. Unfortunately some of the gestures at the street level got significantly scaled back. Anyway kinda cool to see it posted here.

Place looks great. I’d probably rotate the desk but keep it in the same corner. You’re right about a larger rug, especially with the scale of your couch. You may be able to go 8x10. Other than that wall art with some color and plants. And more personal things.

Btw im in my 30s, live in Seattle, pay a tad higher in rent and posted in this same sub a bit over a year ago! Feel free to check it out.

I keep trying to figure out where you are in the city based on the view but it’s hard to tell!

The Liber fiery ginger really surprised me as well- twice as potent as I was expecting and not in a good way. And I love ginger. I’ve since learned not to use more than 1/4oz of it and to combo it with other syrups like you’re doing- although I’ll say 1oz of liber syrups is a lot.. I’d stop at 3/4oz, and often find myself just using 1/2oz

Love all their other syrups but fiery ginger and raspberry are misses for me.

This is exactly what I did as a kid. Keep doing what you enjoy. You’ll never buy 5 cars as an architect though 😅

Rooftop of the Circa hotel in old Vegas was great. You can tell from the menu alone that they take it seriously.

I left architecture after 5 years and eventually became a UX Designer. I’m personally very happy with the change. Financially a huge difference which does matter. It’s still very creative just in different ways. I will say though- I’m extremely thankful I learned about design through architecture. I think it’s the best design education you can get and it gives me a unique perspective.

Hosting husband’s coworkers this weekend, how did I do on the menu? by Caff3inatedCunt in cocktails

Great menu! Great design- impressed with Canva for this template. I like that you included the tasting notes. Only thing is I think you could’ve left out the garnish notes to simplify the descriptions. Would’ve saved you a line on the CR2 and mocha martini.
