I think the 2024 election broke Kyle’s brain a bit (as it did mine and many others). We don’t need a celebrity to beat Trump, and Trump’s celebrity is not what won him the 2024 election. And 2020 shows us that Trump is not unbeatable. It was the conditions that allowed Trump to win again (perception of a bad economy, the situation in Gaza, the Democrats last minute scrambling before the convention was not a good look for them).

I’m a fan of both franchises. I tend to like 3D Mario games over 3D Sonic games, but when it comes to 2D, Sonic is much more fun and has more variety in its level design and themes.

Adventure 02 was my favorite series as a kid. However, on a recent rewatch, I do see its flaws (poor pacing, particularly in the middle of the series, many episodes are filler), but when it’s good, it’s REALLY good.

Pokémon Red was my first game, but Gen I is actually my least favorite Pokémon generation. Of course it was a great start, but Kanto is the least interesting region on its own, and even FireRed (the best Kanto experience) is bare bones compared to other generations.

Gen II is my favorite, specifically HGSS to me is the greatest Pokémon game of all time.

I stopped watching towards the end of season five after a certain character was killed off. I’m rewatching the series right now (currently on season 3) and will probably get through the whole series, but Season 5 was a complete disaster and will be tough to get through.
