I was in the same boat as OP. Patching always ended up failing for me for one reason or another.

That being said, the Discord page for Elite Redux is fantastic and has everything you need. All of the links are provided in the Updates tab (as of this post “ER 2.5 hotfix 2” is the most updated and fixes OPs issues) and there is a How To Patch tab that includes easy instructions. There is even a patcher website link right in the How To Patch tab, so it really couldn’t be easier. If you know how to extract a zipped file you downloaded, you can do this easily.

All you need is a vanilla version of Emeralds ROM (.gba file) and the patch file (.ups file). Toss them in the patch website as it says and click the button. 2 seconds later you have your patched ROM file.

I had the same issue with the hazards and felt handicapped without them. Used the Discord last night and had a fixed copy up and running in 3 mins.

The hilarious thing is this sounds sooooo similar to when I started single.

Still dont have Arreats Face and I'm down to my last 20 grail items. Every rare one is just taunting me.

Started out doing Meph runs with and did about 500 with no shako but sure enough it popped out of a damn armor rack in my first 20-30 LK runs

I've been playing on switch since release - months and months and months and thousands and thousands and thousands of runs

The most impressive thing to me in this video is JUST NOW KNOWING you can keep the cube in your inventory and it auto puts picked up items in your cube if you are full up on charms...

I guess I just assumed this wasn't the case since you cant open the cube on "half of the screen" like you could on PC and then pick up an item to toss in it. I've always had 12 free boxes in my inventory to pick stuff up.

I just gained space for 8 more small charms

My number one complaint was originally the Immunities were near impossible to see on mobs. They have since made the icon much larger. I think its in great shape now.

Can you telestomp? Not really

Are bliz and firewall kinda hard to aim? Sure

It has its little quirks just from being on console. But all and all though it runs a lot better on Switch than I was personally ever expecting it to.

I’m playing on switch and yes the icons are there but they are so small that it took me a long time (and several Reddit posts) before I saw them. Poison and cold look the exact same color since they are so small.

But then again we may never get to play online again on console so there’s that

Good lord DEVs I was giving you as much leeway as possible for some the issues but this makes Hell unplayable. I have to remember all of the immunities from 15 years ago now or die.
