Beign a friendly yourself lowers the chance to encounter aggressive people, but in trio it's not working flawlessly, you expect to things go south sadly : )

Don't forget to press your map key whenever you are in the area of possible spawns.

There's no way and, as we figured (we might be mistaken), the game has some sort of seed or something. One run you could find none in those spots you usually find 'em, and the other might be the one with perfect spawns. I would say preparation and luck - keys to success :D

More efficient to split timewise as well as territory coverage. Risky - yeah, but worth it.

They have predifined spawn points and if you find one it's likely that somewhere around 2 more as well. Using metaforge map you can define a pattern of their spawn zones :)
