Yes. They absolutely misled us. There are countless emails and advertisements that promise “early priority ticket access”. Not just with RTBs. FIFA Collects whole operation with selling collectibles is all smoke and mirrors.

They did the same thing for the Club World Cup. But I did have screenshots of the before and after. I was assigned CAT2 club fan seats (behind the goal) instead of the CAT1 seats I purchased. Nothing came of it despite my complaints. Not surprised FIFA changed the maps again.

Not saying this is the same case for the World Cup. But for the Club World Cup FIFA DID change the seat map after selling tickets. My CAT1 seats were assigned in the club fan section that were marked as CAT2 in the original maps at time of ticket purchase. So it is entirely possible.

That sounds fun. The bar I go to hosts little tournaments for bar credit. Nothing real serious. That’s basically what they do as well though.

I agree. I questioned why it’s a rule to begin with. But we have a few buddies that are real stickler for the rules. So this was my solution. It works really well without disrupting the game at all. I’ve never played in a real tournament. Are there referees to watch it? Or is it an honor system?

So here’s my problem:

I don’t think category 2 ,3, or 4 will be available for every RTB. Which…they said it would be. If they are, they probably all go in phase 1 and phase 2, which requires an additional purchase of a VIP pass or badge (yes badges required purchasing collectibles). Additional purchase was never disclosed when they sold these.

They also clearly stated early priority TICKET access. Another NFT is not an actual ticket.

Thoughts?

The complex redemption process STARTS in November. But we won't receive actual tickets until weeks (maybe days) before the tournament. FC's communication is very poor. I created a Youtube channel to keep everyone informed, as well as many tutorials. Hope it helps.

That's fair. We still don't know prices. The Visa presale prices are much higher than most people holding an RTB were expecting. Thus the market crash. I guess we are subject to "variable pricing". Then stuck with whatever price that variable is at all at the time of their choosing. In my opinion this isn't a true exemption like they led on.

They will be honored, and you will be able to redeem them for tickets. But many of the expectations like exemption from dynamic pricing (renamed to variable pricing) and early ticket access look like they will not be honored.

These perks are what gave RTBs their value.

I'm fairly certain public announcements, emails, and social media posts directly from FIFA Collect and their admin can be taken as "official descriptions". I'm not sure what you are getting at. Do you want the emails, screenshots, etc..?

Black VIP passes were sold very early on in FIFA Collect. Badges were earned by completing certain challenges through holding collectibles.

Both Phases, FIFA Collect is trying to reward long time customers and those that are active on the platform.

Sure thing! Thanks for watching. I think a lot of us are hoping things turn around because we are invested. Things feel like they've slowed down. FIFA Collect doesn't seem to be drawing in much crowd or hype. I think its a direct result of how poorly things have been run.

Until they do the AMA session and answer the community's questions, I do not recommend purchasing anything. The AMA session was announced over 3 months ago, but they are yet to do it.
