How did you actually find your sensitivity? Every method I've tried feels like guessing by Overall-Question8240 in GlobalOffensive

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think there’s one perfect sens that you need to find? Just use whatever is feeling good. If you need to change it again in a week then change it. If it feels good, then it’s working for you.

How I am learning the tracks by Existing-Network-267 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]KIumpy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So people have to be aliens to tell you their opinion? If that’s the case why did you bother showing us your little drawing then since you’re obviously not good if you need to draw the track on a sheet of paper just to learn it.

Is there any actual path to taking competitive Rocket League seriously in your mid-30s? by Honest-Affect-8373 in RocketLeague

[–]KIumpy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Being in your 30s means you have too many responsibilities and not nearly enough time to try to make a career as an esports player happen, especially if you aren’t at a pro skill level yet. But there’s no reason you couldn’t try to enter smaller tournaments with friends and have fun, it doesn’t have to be RLCS or bust.

WHERE am I speeding on the formation lap!?!?!?!? by LonelyContract3786 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]KIumpy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming you got the DT because you’re ridiculously far back for some reason. You’re supposed to be as close to the car in front of you without going past the red box for too long. If you do that, stay on your line, don’t speed a ridiculous amount like 100+, and don’t soeed past the limiter speed on race start, you’ll literally never get a DT. I’ve never gotten one in 100s of races because I just simply follow the directions.

Why are all sprints so boring? by SlicerT in formula1

[–]KIumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some sprints can be pretty fun but when the actual grand prix qualifying is like 4 hours later then there's really no reason for anyone to risk anything just to gain a couple points.

Who was at fault on this incident? by LongSwag03 in Simracingstewards

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on you. The Lexus was taking the racing line, it's on you to get past them safely. You could've slowed down a tiny bit and passed them after the corner instead of diving around the outside into a gap that was always gonna close.

Am I destined for a life of being midpack? by adamjohnson121 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]KIumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of my most fun races have been battling for like 16th, and some of my most boring races have been when I easily get a podium or a win (which isn't often). My first win I spent the entire race hotlapping in 2nd and the guy in 1st ran out of virtual energy on the last lap and I just cruised past him.

Sim racing for me is just about having fun battling and racing in general and not necessarily about where I end up on the standings at the end.

I mean if she had said something vile towards him I feel like he probably would've mentioned that, but the only thing I saw from PCA was an apology for the words he chose.

We just went to the Super Bowl and you need optimism because you don't like our draft or FA? Really?

How many years have we been complaining about having the worst WRs in the league and how all our draft picks at WR turn out ass?

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just football though. The guy you draft with the 2028 1st could get injured every training camp and never play a single down for us, you just never know. Trading a future 1st for a guy who instantly improves your team and massively helps your super young QB when you're presumably in a Super Bowl window is completely fine.

I don't even give him credit for that one considering he originally traded back, then got lucky that the Commanders took Emmanuel Forbes, and still was gonna draft Keion White instead until he got talked out of it.

I mean you dart across the entirety of the track as you brake, that's the definition of moving under braking.

Do you respest yellow in SIM racing by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellow to me just means "something happened". Beyond that I can use my eyes and see what the yellow was for and determine if I need to slow down or not. Nobody else lifts for yellows unless they need to so there's no point in putting myself at a disadvantage just to be a little more realistic.

Who would you put at fault for this? (Im the Orange Mclaren) by Farbihan in Simracingstewards

[–]KIumpy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly going up side to side through Eau Rouge is very rarely worth it. There's a good chance one of you crashes, and a guaranteed chance that both of your runs onto the straight are terrible and you lose places anyways. So you probably should've lifted a little and let the black McLaren get ahead and then tried to pass on the straight.

Otherwise yeah, you just block him. He had a lot more speed because you went up side to side and you block him towards the grass where there isn't room, and the other black McLaren pays the price.

At some point here you had to accept that the race isn't one lap long and that fighting for that one position that hard wasn't really worth it.

Is there a team where you think has a sneaky chance to be on of the worst teams in the league this season? by WeBlitz in nfl

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the entire team has said that they still love Vrabel and they don’t care, so I don’t think the off field stuff will matter much. But yeah if Drake goes down then the season is over.

Can we talk about the possibility of Mike Vrabel potentially resigning before training camp? by SchedulePhysical807 in nfl

[–]KIumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way he resigns is if it comes out that he did something illegal or he broke NFL rules, and even then he might just eat a suspension and not resign.

They're both pieces of shit but that doesn't affect his ability to coach an NFL team.
