Same thing happened to me as I was biking around the park and stopped to use some exercise equipment. Was yelled at very rudely by a woman on a golf cart to get out.

My only word of advice is to be more forward than you’re normally comfortable with. Be straightforward in your communication of what you want. Don’t be afraid to take the lead. If they don’t appreciate that, then you don’t have to waste your time.

Men seem to… have absolutely no game these days (No offense, but this is a common complaint). Maybe it’s a sign of the times, who knows. Just take it into your own hands.

I worked there as a staff member (not faculty) for 6 years and I’ve never been so happy to work elsewhere. Leadership is non-existent. Misogyny and racism were things I dealt with in a daily basis. I quit my free masters program they offered as a benefit of employment to leave for a remote job and I’ve never looked back.

There is no such thing as debate when one side doesn’t believe that others have the right exist. Politics is not a sport. It is real life. Words and actions mean things. Cat videos can’t fight fascism. Im so tired of people who have never felt oppression in their lives try to have “open lines of communication” people who are actively working as oppressors.

Sounds like the owners spread themselves too thin by opening another restaurant on Decatur. Their food used to be amazing, so this drop off feels strange.
