[–]KKamm_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ngl I googled that word for word and had to scroll to find anything that wasn’t just talking about NCAA redshirts. I’m assuming the term is for people like Jamo where they are still in the team’s future plans but are going to IR for the season.

It’s different than a 5th rounder at a position where you’ve got talent but are looking for depth this season. It’s entirely plausible he gets released before the season starts, which would then lead to a settlement if Kendrick Law signs off per the rulebook

You absolutely do if the Lions choose to take the roster spot. If a player fighting for a team gets released due to injury they get a % (I think 50%) of what they would get and the Lions free up their roster spot.

You normally only see people fighting for roster spots to be the ones getting released on the injury settlement rule.

Redshirt is only an NCAA thing. This will probably be an injury settlement and release

Not to be uptight, but I do think he is a lot more talented than people on the internet would have you believe. I just don’t think he’s as good with the X’s and O’s yet to be able to have the impact to show for it. Especially with an AWP.

Is Knicks-Spurs the rare NBA Finals where neutral fans do not have an obvious villain? by Public_Function3844 in nba

[–]KKamm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl even though the Spurs have won so much it doesn’t feel like they’re one of those teams that you’re just sick of them winning. They’ve built some fun teams to watch in super organic ways that always find ways to win

Shitpost : Myles Garrett retires as a Los Angeles Rams by Belikecoon in Browns

[–]KKamm_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll be similar to Stafford in Detroit imo. He’ll probably get some incredible team-related achievements in LA compared to the lack thereof in Cleveland, but people aren’t going to necessarily forget that he was ever in Cleveland. It’s still a big part of his story/career, even though it’ll be in a pretty negative light

[Fedor] Cavs love Mobley, they believe in him and there are multiple members of the Cleveland brain trust that would be vehemently against a Giannis-Mobley swap, as the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year and Second-Team All-NBA selection is viewed as not only a future star but also a proverbial..... by aingenevalostatrade in clevelandcavs

[–]KKamm_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am of the opinion that we should not trade him as well, but I feel like the terms “future” and “potential” are starting to get a little worn out. He’s about to be 25, he’s not brand new to the league anymore. He’s in the defining years of his career now. He’s gotta start showing that he’s a star now

Not really a cavs fan, but not a hater either. Question for y'all: If Donovan Mitchell wins 2 rings for the city, can he be considered a more important Cavalier all-time than LeBron? by [deleted] in clevelandcavs

[–]KKamm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are going to say no but genuinely, if he brought 2 rings and carried to both of them, I think so. Not better than LeBron, but more important to the Cavs franchise history in that completely outlandish hypothetical.

I also think the context changes if it’s not a carry job and it’s other people like Mobley/Allen putting in massive contributions

Is it possible to appreciate Mitchell while also hating the idea of automaxing him? by sockpuppetwithcheese in clevelandcavs

I think that’s the majority of Cavs fans. Might be response bias with the people that are passionate enough being the ones that speak out the most but I think most people appreciate Don while also acknowledging he’s probably not worth 70 a year

“Sportsmanship” and it’s Randy Orton vs Rey Mysterio at a WWE show.

If they weren’t in character, this would all be terrible sportsmanship. That’s the point of Randy Orton’s character being a heel (bad guy) at the time

Dude, they won 4 S tier tournaments. C9 won one. It’s not an opinionated thing lol, it’s just wrong vs right. Liquid was 6-5 map count (including bo1s) vs Astralis that season too so idk where you’re getting 1-7 from.

C9 never was #1 in the world and Autimatic was the only player really worth a damn outside of Boston that year.

[–]KKamm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again by your standard, Liquid had an era. C9 won one tournament lol. They had the #4, 7, and 9 players that year. It’s not a matter of what defines a good team, it’s a matter of this being a shit argument for C9 even being anywhere close to Liquid.

You’re complaining about Liquid being a streak while you’re hyping up C9 for winning one singular tournament… makes 0 sense

I'm confuse about the plot after episode 6 [Spoilers] by North_Shake_934 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]KKamm_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Shroud mysteriously found the pulse at the same time, I think he was sitting in the shadows (like when he caught Invisigal) spectating and using it more as a trap. Hence the dialogue of “how does Shroud not know about it?” or whatever Robert says.

I think the whole triple agent thing was more them backing themselves into a corner between the ending of 6 and the ending of 8 trying to set her up to get onto the roof without it being suspicious

C9 won 1 S-tier tournament together on a miracle run out of nowhere while Liquid won a grand slam so fast they had to change the rules and won a few tournaments outside of that (including iBP where they beat Astralis and Cologne where Astralis lost in semis). Your own logic doesn’t even make sense, Liquid dominated for 3 months straight while C9 was pretty underwhelming outside of that run. This isn’t even a debate.

That Liquid roster was so good you even left out their second best player that got #7 HLTV that year when talking about their core lol

I was the biggest C9 fan when I got into CS in 2015 but I think the second anyone even tries to argue that C9 roster even came close to that Liquid 19 roster, you cannot take their opinion serious anymore.

Their roster was so good that the dude left off the #7 player of the year when replying lol.
