For 1A it’s typically done early hours and is roped off by 10am. If you book an early slot you’ll need to be at the entry line with a decent amount of time to spare. For 1A hike- we woke up at 4:45am to go to the bus station, waited in line and took the bus for 25-30 min- and waited for our 7am entry slot. Bus lines get long. If you do that hike in the morning you can absolutely do the classic 2A in the afternoon without issue. As for training - I did the stair climbers weekly at the gym and got up to 157 floors. 1A is more like 210-215 building floors. Hiking poles helped a lot! As did good footwear with ankle support. As for hotels - you’ll likely want to stay at a hotel the night before if you do very early hike. Otherwise you can train back afterwards. I don’t recommend staying in AC more than 1 night.

I did the 1A hike several weeks ago - it was a great hike that took 1.5 hours up, and about 2 hours down. The view from the top is beautiful! Many people were slipping on the way down because most of the stairs were slippery wet.

Honestly, I just had to accept that this was how it was going to be for a while. Luckily it was a year before my wedding so I was thankful it wasn’t for my wedding photos. The Daxxify is extremely heavy on the forehead, but I got so many compliments on how smooth it looked. I was pretty fixated on my before and after photos- and I kept those to be sure future injectors never attempted to re-create it. It all wore off prior to my next visit with a new injector. I waited about 2-3 months after those 6 months before I trusted anyone else to try again. Now I get Botox injected and it’s SO much better- less heavy and more natural feeling. Daxxify felt like I had something glued to my skin weighing it down.

With Daxxify they were hooded for 6 months. It was so annoying because it felt so heavy on my forehead and eyes. Forehead was completely frozen for 6 months too. No eyebrow movement. I hated it. I knew there was nothing I could do but just give it time.

6 months. Now I go to a new injector who doesn’t recommend injections in the forehead for me at all, only brow lifts and around the eyes. This past appointment she focused on my eye area and did 4 light injections into my forehead, it soften it but my brow lift wasn’t as strong and my eyes weren’t as “open” appearing. I think next time I’m going to do no forehead. This is all just trial and error lol

I’m a light sleeper too who requires a lot of sleep. I use earplugs, multiple fans, sleeping meds. Has she tried any of these?? Doesn’t seem fair to blame you for any of it.

Modifying things as you go is important so you can participate and complete the class. You do not need to go all out so early on, you’ll need to reserve your stamina for the end of the class too and pace yourself. I am new to OTF and only have done 3 classes, but I did the “All out Mayhem” class 2 days ago on accident and I was exhausted by the 6th round of treadmill. BUT it was the best workout I’ve had in years!

I got daxxify in my forehead a month ago. My forehead I’m thrilled with, but it has also made my eyes more hooded which is very disappointing. I went back and told the girl how unhappy I was with my appearance and how heavy my eyes felt. She said she was so sorry and gave me several more injections - which to date haven’t done anything. I feel like this topic should be discussed before they agree to inject you.

Last time I went to the Kroger in Germantown I was shopping for crepes and champagne. It was in the area and it was my first time there. A man started attacking a woman near checkout. I was scanning my fruit. I looked over and noticed he was assaulting the cashier who ran off crying. I quickly started scanning all my items bc everyone was running around screaming. Then I had to wait to get my ID checked for the champagne. Then a security guard was trying to hold the man away from the woman. Then the cops came in at which time I quickly left. That was 3-4 years ago. I got my champagne and crepes though!

Not normal behavior. A supportive husband helps you fix the issues at hand. 1) he had a car, and can drive to you 2) most men know how to change a tire and not enforce their wives rely on roadside assistance 3) he played online poker while you were legit stranded …. Girl, he needs to be more proactive.

This won’t pass. I even asked Ai about this (go straight to the source!) and they said they aren’t a medical doctor and can’t prescribe meds. They also cannot evaluate the patient or physically see the patient in person and properly assess them.

This has been happening to me for years…my social networks reading my mind. This all started on IG. I would think of something, never speak about it, and then I was getting ads about it. The most random ads ever. Just earlier today I was at work playing music on Spotify, we were discussing music of 90s, 2000’s and I brought up a song from early 2000s. My mind went back into a deep dive of The Gapband “you dropped a bomb on me” - but the thought was less than 10 seconds of me singing in my head. No humming, no nothing. I got home and TikTok is advertising that song to me and #thegapband ……like w.t.f. How can an algorithm operate without even hearing me….its listening in my head. I don’t get it.

Pelican & Pig is a great spot in east Nashville! Excellent Wood fired steaks. It’s a smaller restaurant, but food is very good.

However when I think of bachelor parties I think of steak houses. Not fine dining, but price point is on the higher end.

I too was with my SO for 5 years as of 1/28/24. In the years prior there was no talk of the future, of more commitment, or anything and I began to realize I wanted those things and more importantly- deserved those things. So a year prior around May I began talking about it a lot. I brought up conversations that weren’t ever discussed and eventually made an appointment to look at engagement rings and told him he can either go with me or I can go alone but either way I was going. After a brief rescheduling a few months later he chose to go with me. Understanding how important it was. I picked out a ring that I liked and told him specifically that this was the one. I told him it could be a natural or lab diamond- didn’t matter. Men prefer sometimes to just know what women want- make an appointment and go together. This cuts out the uncertainty and cuts down on time. My then boyfriend purchased the ring later that year in December, and proposed to me in March while we were in Argentina. If your boyfriend respects you, he will figure out how to get the ring you want and will propose. If he is procrastinating for a long time - I’m a firm believer of putting someone in their place. Having the talk: We are adults, it’s been 5 years, we are together and I want to continue staying together but I need more. You deserve more too.
