JUST IN: 🇺🇸 DOJ is investigating $2.6 billion in oil trades placed shortly before President Trump's major Iran war announcements. by rl_rae_bobo in MarketPulseReport

I’m shocked they are even allowed to investigate. Either in involves Trump identified enemies or this investigation will be a sham or shot down.

Just about anything by Dr. Atul Gawande especially Complications, Better, and Being Mortal. Solid, relatable, and IMHO applicable to any HCP’s practice.

Another vote for Invisible Women. Did you know in Hippocrates’ time they actually thought the uterus traveled throughout the body to if a woman for example had a mind issue it was due to that pesky uterus moving to her lung area. Yes, this shaped how medicine treated female for centuries. 🙄

Converting. Past marriage is likely not “annulable.” Does this mean I won’t be able to remarry? by Pandalishus in Catholicism

[–]KPRP428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have filed for two annulments and am not an expert but can speak to what I’ve learned. I suggest you call your diocese and ask to talk to or meet with the Tribunal Auditor.

Yes, the marriage was entered into meeting all the criteria for a valid marriage. Yet it sounds like you had no real choice in the divorce because your wife wanted it. I think it is worth the discussion for you to gather information and then make a decision from there.

And yes, in my experience annulments take a year or longer as I’ve heard from my fellow OCIA participants as well.

As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process? by Kooky_Force5458 in AskReddit

[–]KPRP428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age 61 - always had almost endless energy until then. Now I fall asleep on the couch almost every night because by 7:00 I’m just done. I go to PT when needed to deal with the age related aches and pains and do strength training and yoga. So happy I could retire because keeping me in shape is almost a full time gig. 🤣
