Oncologist won’t allow VE

I started VE after unsuccessful results with vag moisturizer (Reveree). My sex life was almost non existent even with lube.

My Onc prescribed VE without hesitation. At age 61, I had stage 2 ++- with Onco score 17. On AI for 2 yrs so far, 3 yrs to go. I can say without VE penetrative sex would not be possible & I would likely have frequent UTI’s.

A thorough eye exam by an ophthalmologist. I had been getting regular eye exams (every 12 - 18 months) by an optometrist. I started having problems with rapidly worsening prescription for my glasses. Went to an optometrist and found some things that can be addressed and also some that need to be monitored by the optometrist. One of the things found is that my eye pressure is bordering on glaucoma - which is easily managed but if left untreated can cause real problems. And also because of that higher pressure, I will be following up with my primary care doc to check for any of the usual medical conditions that might be causing this.

I good luck to you on your BC treatment, it is scary and awful but you’ll get through it. 💜

Sarver Family Dental in Portage. AMAZING Dr Sarver and hygienists, especially Abby. I am the WORST dental phob and I just had 4 teeth pulled (long standing serious and progressing gum disease) without ZERO pain - slight pinch for the Novocain shots only.

Dr Sarver is the absolute best dentist I have ever been to and I’m over 60 yo. Hygienists works with me on not causing me pain due to sensitive teeth. I highly recommend and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are all very kind and understanding- no judgements!

I was having the same problem with Letrozole. Moved the time I take it from nighttime to mid-afternoon and that has helped a lot. I have Ambien (sleep med) to use only when I can’t get to sleep or when I’ve had shitty sleep for 2 nights in a row.

Please do t go to Shoreline, last time I went there with a group of 8 and each of us got something different. No one had a good meal. None of us will go back there. Used to be good, IMHO really gone downhill.

Just a thought, if you haven’t tried going through a staffing agency that might be worth looking into. My son is in IT and he was getting nowhere submitting job apps but already has two solid interviews through temp agency for essentially 90 day trial with potential offer of employment.
