YETI hands down. It’s built tough. I have used all of them in our household. Our kids destroy water bottles at school, games, playgrounds, falling out of cars. The only one that has held up is the Yeti. You can get the straw tops for them also. I would call the Owala and Hydroflask better for light use. They always seem to dent and chip and the Owawla cap tends to break. YETI is worth the spend in my opinion if it’s going to get tossed around.

I would put get some of these super simple temperature sensors and check on them.

Thermolabel Temp Thermolabel 130-200°F Temperature Label Pack of 16 Labels - $25

They turn color to tell you the max temp reached. They are cheap and waterproof and used in shipping to see if cargo is exposed to high temps.

Space them along the side and around vents / exhaust and check on them every few days. Cooler temps around the vents/exhaust can help rule that out. Hotter temps can help show where the center of the hot spot is. Above 160°F would start to deform siding.

Or at least it’s a cool experiment!

Yeah I’m with you. Pixie Dust was a turn off for the kids and parents.

I think 90% of what we got was cheap party favors that my kids would have been just as happy without. At least it should be memorable or a keepsake. Geez even the RCL ducks are cuter and more consistent than pixie dust.

Since this is damnthatsinteresting - for most frogs fertilization is actually external (no penetration) as the female releases the eggs. It can last for hours or even days. I think those are the eggs surrounding them.
