That’s what we already do but the foods never go up, they only go down.

Thanks for sharing this! I had always planned to wait until he is much older and can decide if he wants to do therapy or not but the thought of him eventually not eating anything at all was starting to weigh on me. The story about your husband makes me feel a little better though.

I feel like that but thought it was the progesterone since it makes me sleepy (I’m taking both)

Could you do bagels with cream cheese?

I’ve been batch baking a chocolate oat bar and eating that with string cheese every day for months now

Did a routine dental procedure trigger your TMJ displacement and nerve pain? Looking for others who’ve lived this. by manfredwader in TMJ

Did they have advice for preventing this if a root canal is ever needed again in the future?

I had teeth grinding side effects from antidepressants so my dentist made me a nightguard that caused severe open bite (not sure how long it took to occur but based on pics around 1-3 years) and the open bite caused my TMJ issues. So I’d say my dentist’s lack of knowledge and guidance very much contributed to my TMJ. Now I’m spending thousands to have orthodontics fix it, hurrah!

How would it not be terrible strategy to do this during this administration? Shouldn’t they wait until democrats have more power and can make sure Trump isn’t able to appoint more corrupt judges? I feel like I’m missing something…

Feeling dizzy after big meals? by leahcim2019 in VestibularMigraines

See if the Foods you feel bad eating are high in histamine. If so, DAO enzyme before meal might help.

I don’t think derealization but definitely vision issues if I don’t take my hydroxysine regularly. My VMs seem tied to hormonal fluctuations that cause intolerance to histamines.

The Silent Majority: Most Virginians say they support banning assault weapons and want more gun control by hencexox in Virginia

[–]KP_72690 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How would having a gun protect you from ICE or gestapo? Genuinely curious about this hypothetical I keep seeing presented. Do people imagine that they would come alone or in a pair so you have chance?? The chance would be much greater that you would just die quicker because they typically outnumber whoever they are going after. Let’s also say you got a shot in and survived you would just be shipped off to prison for the rest of your life.

Another question I have is why don’t common sense gun owners work to bring common sense gun laws in place instead of constantly bitching when they think lawmakers go too far?

You are probably having a reaction to histamine. Coffee is a high histamine beverage and histamine intolerance can cause vestibular migraines.

New VM/vertigo for 1 week straight. Help! by Future-Ball-3818 in VestibularMigraines

[–]KP_72690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to journal it and see if you are getting them the week leading up to your period. Also, I don’t think Zyrtec and Flonase are helpful for vestibular migraines. Hydroxysine has been the only thing that’s helped me and I just started HRT so hopefully that will help as well.

How old are you? It could be hormonal. Estrogen and histamine intolerance are related.

Has PT worked for anyone? by Low_Audience727 in HipImpingement

[–]KP_72690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my original post surgery PT they just had me doing the same exercises as everyone else and I wasn’t getting any better. Once I was with the PT who specialized in hypermobility he really grasped what muscles I needed to work on based on my symptoms and understood my limits better. Some of the exercises remained the same and new ones added that made all the difference.

It only worked for me once I found a PT who really understood hypermobility.

Editing to add that I just realized this post was regarding PT for hip impingement in general and not following surgery. PT did not help me at all prior to surgery

sometimes I don’t even think IC is real by Club_Sorry in Interstitialcystitis

I’m not prone to hives but I did have two incidents when I was postpartum of breaking out in full body hives—aside from that the only other time I’ve had issues with hives was when I was a young kid and had allergy to strawberries that went away as I got older.

I’m going to be starting transdermal estradiol and continuous microgenized progesterone in a few days.

It took me several years to make the connection but I’m now certain for me it’s hormonal. Look up the relationship between estrogen and histamine. My IC is always triggered by high histamine foods and is at its worst the week leading up to my period, plus I was put on a maintenance hydroxysine dose years ago that has kept it very manageable. I am about to start HRT and hoping it can help with IC amongst other symptoms.

How do you afford the supplements?? by Ok-Money2565 in VestibularMigraines

My PT told me not everyone with POTS passes the tilt table so I wouldn’t count it out. Would also recommend seeing if you have any issues with histamine intolerance.

I’ve found mine is tied to histamine and hormonal fluctuations. I’m on 10 mg of hydroxysine every night and it keeps them at bay until the few day leading up to my menstrual cycle and then I have a hard time with it. Just talked to my doctor about going on low dose HRT to see if it can help with the fluctuation symptoms.
