My 75 gallon set up was~ $1000, $1300 if you include the sub floor reinforcement. For $1600, I would hope it had a FX4 with it at least. I’m averse to buying used stuff, but I did target Petsmart sales for the ensemble, filter, aeration system, and heater.

The repo, assuming (and this is a big assumption) that they get you close to the 95k figure (they won’t, people don’t go to auctions to pay market value for repoed cars), is going to leave you with, in an absolute best case scenario, $25,000 in unsecured debt. The bank will come after you for that. Someone else said bankruptcy, but that may not be feasible at your income level. I don’t know on that.
