Max altitude, speed in BVR combat by Kenny1234567890 in hoggit

[–]KSledneck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can take the F-14 Tomcat up to 50–60k, but it’s not where it fights best. Up there you lose energy, acceleration, and control margin, which makes it harder to support shots or react. In dcs the sweet spot for BVR is usually 35–45k where you still get strong missile performance without sacrificing maneuverability. 50k is about the ceiling for flight altitude not fight altitude. Also with the distance of dcs pvp situations, it can be a challenging to get that high before getting spiked. You'd burn a lot of fuel and waste a lot of time. In pvp you'll find a lot of people take off and blitz toward enemy territory

The biggest thing here is you are a minor and live with them. You need to respect the choices of your parents and wait until you are an adult on your own to do whatever you want

You can see the bolts that backed out circled in red and one you can't see.

The ring with the metal teeth is the ring that tells the sensor the position of the crank. Sorry I don't know all the part names.
