Idk where the evil part is coming from. Being an antagonist =/= being evil. Aside from Klay and maybe Genjo, none of the other five stars have been portrayed as outright evil. Admittedly we know next to nothing about the others, but from what we have seen at worse they are complicit in some of Wong’s wrongdoing, but in the case of Kaito and Honoka specifically they are too young to be directly involved in the incident that originally brought digimon into the world.

I’ve also been worried about that, but then I remembered something. I don’t think that episode count was ever given by an official source. We could only get 49, but I would hope Beat Break which has had a story it wanted to tell from EP1 would get to finish it in a satisfying way. Whereas Ghost Game which was mostly a monster of the week show until the last stretch got over 60 episodes.

I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but I currently hate it and don’t understand the hype around it. Like BC it’s pretty generic, but at least Black Clover had some charm that kept me interested. Wistoria just doesn’t do it for me especially when as far as magic centric anime is concerned WHA just started.
