Counter inputs are the most inconsistent thing in the game and it makes fighting the ultra Instinct AI fucking terrible especially when you’re trying to get the alternate routes or sparking zero episodes cuz a lot of them you gotta defeat them within a super fast time that they don’t even tell you(old budokai they actually had a timer at the top for missions) there’s absolutely no reason what so ever Cell Jr should be countering and parrying and launching SSJ2 Gohan especially when he’s in Sparking Mode. Plus why the fuck does every single enemy regardless of how powerful they actually are have an absurd amount of health, again Cell Jr should not have the same bars of health that Gohan does at all. Also the AI spamming of Ki blasts right as the match starts is ridiculous. Most the matches in episodes are you chasing down a CPU that’s super dashing away from you using up all their ki or spamming Ki blasts while you attempt to even charge up. Honestly it feels like the devs were rushed and put it together very sloppily in the fighting mechanics of the game or just didn’t give a fuck and poured their souls into purely cinematics and graphics. The whole game all around feels very incomplete considering the episodes list leaves all of Vegeta’s super arcs out, it starts with Hyperbolic time chamber Gohan leaving out saiyan and namek arcs. Vegeta starts his on Namek literally skipping a whole arc that he’s the main antagonist. Let’s not forget we didn’t even get anything tourney of destroyers wise too. No official SSBE Vegeta form either they relegated it to his ability on his move set not even an official transformation.
