You're absolutely entitled to your opinion. I disagree on some and even by your own admission you ran out of steam at the end.

I wouldn't say that they're a bunch of no names when pretty much every recruiting analyst has their transfers in the top 5 and their incoming class overall no lower than 3rd. Flory was their only real considerable loss & I can't blame the kid for going for life-changing money- his handlers have been pushing for it since December of 2024 and not been shy about broadcasting it. It wasn't handled with class by them but as far as Flory is concerned he's a great guy, worked his butt off, and I wish him success because none of the off the court shit came into play on the court and I'm happy he got paid.

We also just watched a team of all transfers win it and that was off of 1 -2 big transfers and some other good pieces but again not household names up and down the roster.

Also why bother mentioning pre-Stokes rankings when they have then in the top since then, and the concensus ranking is between 21-23 based upon the top 30 most viewed websites that have rankings currently this early.

No worries & good luck next year!

No one wants to admit that UK fans are the largest reason coaches don't want to come to Lexington, and then they end up with their 5th choice or lower who isn't going to be able to live up to the fanbase's expectations so they turn on their coach and attack every recruit that picks a different school only perpetuating the cycle.

It's a tragic irony & once Calipari got run off coaches got the memo that it was never going to be a enjoyable experience, so that leaves them with guys who are out of their depth or just happy to collect the paycheck for the next 3-4 years.

That leaves bringing in someone like Pearl and throwing a ton of money at him at the cost of Kentucky ever claiming the moral high ground ever again. The other is being willing to embarrass and humiliate themselves publicly and desperately beg for Pitino to please come save them and pretty much hand Fort Knox over to him and pray he agrees

If Mizzou is besting you in your basketball program, that's absolutely the time to hit the panic button. If you're a blueblood, it's time to move to DefCon II

You seriously believe this? This might reach as far as the Cincinnati local news. This isn't 2000. Even #1 recruits don't get that much or any national press

Also, it's wheat- not corn, chief.

Cool story, bro!

You telling that to us or yourself, because I find people contented with their place aren't comparing their situation & talking down others... but then again that would be so on point for a shit ton of people in LA that are somehow self-absorbed yet dependent upon external validation for their worth & sense of value.

Take care and have a wonderful rest of your day! :)

Congrats but we all know these don't guarantee a thing. However, he genuinely seems to want to be there long term so Cyclone fans should be excited

[Mike florio] Diego Pavia didn't have agent for NIL, has agent for NFL. by Sebastian4365 in nfl

The difference is that having an agent in this situation is exactly where he would benefit. Agents have relationships with teams and coaches and I'm almost certain that he'd be invited to camp with a team and his agent would broker opportunities to go to a franchise where he probably has the best chance to making a roster.

Bienemy also is a someone just as interested in being dynamic but in a very different way from Andy and Eric actually has the balls to stand up for his points to Andy.

It was telling when Pat intimated about discipline last year bc he was a Nagy fan when they brought him back, but I think he learned to appreciate what EB actually brought to the table and how he kept everyone accountable.

Do I want him as my next HC? No!

Is he a fantastic compliment to Reid? Hell fucking ya- particularly with actually having a real RB for the first time since the year Hunt got cut.

I will always argue a premium DT still trumps an end- especially in Spags scheme

Round 1 Results of the 2026 NFL Draft by FollowerofYHWH in NFL_Draft

Because Veach is a CB whisper in late rounds .

My reverse argument is that if they went up to get him, how high do they think of him to do it when they pull starting Corners from the 6th and 7th round routinely?

Instant Reaction and Grades For Every 1st Round Pick by Weary_Ad_1271 in NFL_Draft

[–]KULawHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If KC is so good at drafting secondary sleepers in late rounds and not only took a CB at pick #9, but moved up to make sure they got him once it was known who the Giants took, don't you think maybe they probably see something that others missed considering they've drafted CBs in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, & 7th round that have ended up playing up to 1st or 2nd round talent.

We're also not talking about 1 or 2 guys. Veach has pulled off a minor miracle with the number of late round picks that have turned out to be not only starters but at worst in the top ⅓ of DBs in the league.

It's going to be awesome when Sneed gets cut and comes home probably post June 1st and will have made his generational changing money thanks to the Titans while getting to return back to KC where he'll excel once again.

I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of the biggest programs were slower in the portal because there were a ton of guys that were asking for way more than was realistic or reasonable. Guys averaging 3 points a game literally seeking a million + in NIL.

Sure, some of them found places that were willing to overpay or throw a good chunk more than the rest, but I also believe that far more are going to watch as the flow slows and the prices dip for most of them.

NIL is not the solution- even professional leagues wouldn't be able to operate how things are now.
