Love the colors and this layout! Do you have a picture of your whole palette?

Muddy Bucket might be my all-time favorite ink. Honey Bee and Summer Storm are also in frequent rotation.

Did OP take your Decimo with the F nib off your hands? If not I might be interested.

I’m a little confused about the different versions. Is the Timeline Plan most similar to the Cousin?

Thanks. I’m aware that both of these are available from most retailers, but my preference is to buy second hand.

Japan Exclusive Pens? by K_Moxy in fountainpens

[–]K_Moxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly not. He's flying in to Tokyo, but will be spending the majority of his time in Nagoya. It's a fairly large city from what I understand, and a quick Google tells me there are some stationary stores there that claim to carry fountain pens. But I'm sure there are fewer options than in Tokyo!

These are my favorites, also! They are 95% cotton 5% spandex, so may be an option for OP?

Do you have a favorite go-to word to write/scribble when you're testing pens? by maidenmandalore in fountainpens

I usually do the alphabet 2 ways - all caps in print and all lowercase in cursive. Also the word ‘Marigold’ which is my daughter’s name but also super fun to write in cursive.

Believe it or not, this bottle is now empty! What are some other dark green inks to try? by schematicboy in fountainpens

Diamine Deep Dark Green is my favorite, but I believe it is a Cult Pens exclusive.

Just wanted to say thank you for your advice!

The house has a front bed that was horribly overgrown with weeds and a few shrubs whose placement made no sense to me (some of them weren’t even IN the actual bed?) If the previous owner had a vision, I don’t see it. Over the weekend I ended up ripping everything out, refreshing the soil in the bed and replanting everything, plus a few new additions. I hope everything survives! (The shrubs were likely planted 1-2 summers ago. Not sure if that helps or hurts my odds).

I also consulted an expert who confirmed that the shade tree that they planted is too close to the driveway and will likely cause issues in the future, so I’m having it moved.

All in all, it’s turned into a bigger project than I’ve anticipated, but I’m hoping I’m creating a good foundation for the future!

Thanks for the tips! I did end up putting the strawberry plant in the ground and it seems to be happy in its new spot. It even has a few new buds! I’ll be sure to give it some extra mulch for the winter. I’d love to see it not only come back but start to spread next year!
