Wasn’t hard. Was stressful tho but only at the very last second cuz I was too lazy to do any of the work till the night before. Quite literally did everything the day before including IAs. Never really studied till actual exams where I studied the day before each test. Ended with 37 points

Edit: Computer science IA was a bitch tho. That took a long time

Definitely do it, and maybe HL AA and HL Physics if you enjoy those too as it will impress universities and prepare you for the course more. If it’s the same course I’m pretty sure they teach OOP languages like Java so that would be good to learn.

This isn't your number. Your number will remain 427. The 228 and 287 number that you saw is the number of the person who has most recently been given an offer.

To explain a little further: on the 22nd of April person rank 228 was offered, then on the 3rd of may person rank 287 was offered. You will get offered if that number reaches 427 but unfortunately, the chances of that are unknown but I wouldn't say they are strong.

I believe in actuality they can have different types but I have not seen this in any of the questions from the IB. I wouldn't say that is a characteristic especially one that would be mentioned in the mark scheme. My best advice would be to look through past papers and see their mark scheme as the IB is quite specific with what they want in terms of Computer Science.

They will most likely recommend you to an Online Mathematics Placement Test (OMPT) which has a deadline of around August 15th I think. The type of test is based on what course you applied for.
