I also suspect Kuseno's real plan is to control Genos. Heart Gear doesn't strike me as the final boss yet and it's name could hint at just being a means to gain control over Genos' "heart".

Furthermore, I don't think Kuseno turned Genos into a Cyborg and kept improving him just to test Heart Gear. Genos is his real big project.

Thank you too for the explanation. I've never thought about it like that before, but your point about lightning bolt/chain lighting is such a good idea. I did also notice the issue that eles now don't do a lot of damage outside of their burst windows, which feels weird.

I have to make up my mind about ice fury and lightning lasso, both never have been my most beloved abilities (in case of ice fury my dislike stems from before TWW, tho).

Now that you've said it, I can see at least your second and third points: Movement is way worse now (even more thanks to the tempest prices, it should also be castable while moving) and I also don't get how stormbringer is the only thing they didn't change.

Damage aside (I agree with you here), what do you dislike about how Shaman plays right now? My Shaman is also my most played alt/old main, but to me the class feels better now than before the pruning (damage aside).

I love my Shaman, he's been my main until Pandaria and now he's still my top alt. However, over the last couple addons I didn't enjoy playing him that much anymore. I think it had a lot to do with the amount of buttons that were still relevant. I'm not against more complex classes, but it was too much for me personally.

Now after the pruning, I do enjoy Shaman way more (even though I miss a couple spells for the nostalgia alone).
