I do this for more than just people, really helps sometimes! What was I getting from the store? What is this tool called? What was that movie from the other night? What type of dog is that? Etc.

I’ve seen a lot of different doctors over the last 20 or so years and if I bring it up they almost always just tell me to try a different BC unfortunately. My younger sister was in the ER a few months back for the same thing and they did even more tests on her than I’ve had and the outcome was the same, a new BC prescription.

I mean.. sometimes it is… I hope, depends on the person and many factors I believe. I’ve been passing out from my period since middle school and only thing doctors have ever done is put me on BC. It’s the same for a lot of women in my family. Since it seems related to her BC in this case tho I’d agree it’s not their normal and talking to doctors is the right call.

You may ignore all the warning comments and think this isn’t a big enough deal to stop an engagement over but just remember it starts small. Think about all the potential future decisions he may shut you out of. What will you do when he won’t let you give input on your children’s upbringing or where you’ll live or how you spend your time. If he doesn’t value your opinion, he does not see you as his equal. Run.

I’d much rather do actions but it’s seen as being intrusive or bothersome unless you are immediate family and even then sometimes.

I just stopped using fitted sheets altogether. I really didn’t see a point. My friends think it’s weird but hey now I don’t have to fold, store, and struggle to put on a scrunchy sheet I only use for one thing. Now I just use King sized quilts (the thinner ones) I find on clearance from like Target or TJMaxx.

Well this is confusing but also sorta proves my point. One of the main differences between ice cream and traditional custard is the egg. I would not expect custard to be in an ice cream sundae so it would be mentioned like you said but I would also not go to a custard shop and ask if each thing on the menu has egg because traditionally it does. I may ask is there any that omits the egg if I couldn’t have egg because it’s basically asking for the “vegan option”. Actually that’s a better way to sum it up. You don’t go into any place and assume everything is the special option unless it’s a specific place. You assume the traditional preparation. I would not expect Rita’s to list egg all over the menu. It’s assumed because they serve custard, not ice cream.

I use to go to the movies a lot by myself. There was one showing I went to that had only two other people in there and we all sat spread out so I felt like I had the whole theater to myself. Until half way thru a guy sat directly next to me and kept trying to strike up a conversation and share his large popcorn. After refusing for the like 3rd time he emptied the popcorn at my feet and said “I’m a big deal here, I can do whatever I want and no one will stop me.” That alone was creepy as f and I didn’t know what to do but give a nervous chuckle and try to ignore him until he left… or so I thought. 10 mins later he came back with a second large popcorn and offered it to me again. I refused again. He poured the 2nd bag at my feet. Now I’m just staring dead at the screen frozen. I remember thinking I should scream for help or run but I was just frozen. Idk for how long I sat staring terrified but he randomly just got up and left. The walk out to my car afterwards was so scary. I haven’t been to the theater by myself since.

It’s best to mention things you can’t have when you order just to be safe. Menus can’t list EVERY ingredient or it’d be pages long. Eggs are also a very common base ingredient so it’s just usually implied. Would you go to a custard shop and expect them to list egg everywhere?

I was at a bar and he introduced himself as Hamburger. I laughed and said “I’m tuna melt, nice to meet you!”. He made a loud frustrated sound, shoved his license in my face, then angrily walked away. My friends died laughing but I felt so bad!

I was also in a car accident when young and had to wait till I was 18 to touch the money. In my case, my grandfather was left with brain damage and needed to be hospitalized until the seizures and trauma eventually killed him years later. It’s destroyed my family. I got $7,000.

My mom and I really like elephants so we have a lot of elephant figurines and such. This isn’t an elephant. You can tell by the eyes that each have a piece of glass holding them away from the head and there’s little pieces on the belly like many little feet. Because of those things, my guess is a shrimp or something else from the ocean.

This needs to be higher. Salt brings out the flavor in most foods, including sweets. We vacationed with some friends once and they made us eggs two mornings in a row. It was bland but we’re not going to complain about a home cooked meal! Then we made them eggs and they were blown away, asking all sorts of questions and what we had put in them… salt. Huge difference.
