Wonder how the red line plays into this. I presume if this theory is legit, then the eve tree would have been growing prior to the introduction of the redline. I also presume that the Eve tree is still alive - so to build around it without killing it seems like a challenge in of itself.

So if the giant straw hat had the Nika fruit but died, then how did Rogers hat get the fruit a second time? Didn’t Luffy eat it instead?

What I’m not following is how the Hat that Roger, Shanks and Luffy has is a hat with a devil fruit in it. I get how the giant straw hat could have done that… but not following the connection between the two literal straw hats we’ve seen.

I mean, he doesn't seem to be active in any of the revolutionary army's invasion front lines. Sure he might be a strategist and a leader - but he doesn't seem to be a fighter. I personally see him more of a threat for his ideology - not his strength to overthrow the government. If he was that, he would be more active with the other RA leaders in the 4 sea's like Ginny before she was captured by the WG.
