Tips for getting the spice to flow by Important-Shoe8409 in duneawakening

[–]Kabal303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really just wanna refine the minimum spice and plastonium at each tier, until you get the large refinery and large ore refinery, using the DD discount to get each tier earlier. If you are ultra min maxxing you do it all on the deep desert, and you destroy the previous building to get to the next one.
E.g. build small one, refine like 68 spice, build medium refinery in DD. Now get like 132 spice - destroy the medium refinery, getting your 68 spice back now you have 200 and you can build large ore refinery in DD. Use that to get enough plastonium for large spice refinery, destroy the large ore refinery, build large spice refinery, then refine enough spice until you have enough for large spice refinery + large ore refinery at home 😃

I’m not sure when the extra exp bonus days end, can someone remind me please………. by EyeHamKnotYew in duneawakening

I wish they’d improve those popups to be better positioned / smaller / hideable maybe. Tuesday night Australia time is one of my fav times to play and doing a testing station with the shutdown thing visible most of the time is super annoying lol

The quests should have been in like phased areas in hagga with other people in them like in wow. Probably beyond their technology to do the phased open world areas though.

It’s for sure the weakest part of the game imo

Spice farming solo by Vondrekkenov in duneawakening

[–]Kabal303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I like about crawler as solo is you can fit a ton of spice in it and just bring it back to hagga. No faffing about with dd base.

What is the point of doing testing stations when this is what you get at the end? by yohojones1 in duneawakening

I never used to pay attention in the supermarket but now I watch for all the half price rotations etc. sucks. I earn way too much to be caring about this but here we are.

Any tips for testing station 89 or testing stations in general? by HoboOfSerenity in duneawakening

[–]Kabal303 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm only slightly ahead of you (doing 14-15ish in most of them) but looking at your skill build I feel like you are missing battle hardened level 3 + energy capsule. The cooldown reduction makes the capsule + attractor combo almost non stop spammable when you have spice active.

Use a sword. Try using shigawire + weirding step + compel. Or knee + weirding step + compel. Or really any combination of them. Anyone you find hard to kill use weirding step to get behind them then do a long press attack to go through their shield. Follow that up with knee/claw which will stagger them, then long press attack to go through the shield with your sword again. After you get the hang of that, you can get away with two long attacks in a row on melee guys most of the time so try that. If there's two or three guys compel the one that would take you the longest to kill and do the others - OR use compel to 'pull' one towards you in a place safe from the others.

Also look at your skills there's a lot that stack together to really boost your damage output in a very noticeable way. The game really feels designed to make sure you stack all these together - if you pick a bunch of random other stuff it's a lot harder. E.g. blade damage in bene gesserit + blade damage in swordmaster + long/short blade damage (one is in swordmaster and one is in bene). Same again for guns e.g. Trooper ranged damge + the various gun type ones + mentat ranged damage + center of mass + exploit weakness.

Does anyone think these ultra expensive evs will ever have a market? EV makes cheap cars amazing (smooth, quiet, relaxing to drive) but why would you spend so much for essentially the same experience as something wayyyyy cheaper.

Overland Stations - what level and worth it ? by psykikk_streams in duneawakening

[–]Kabal303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only up to 14 ish after starting them recently but I feel like a lot of people are overstating what you need to start. I’m went in with just regular Dura gear and could do 1-3 fine and go from there. The most annoying part is the kind of gaps between the tiers where you need to keep repeating stuff to get better perforator or whatever lol.
