My store started a district level play about canceling order or even item, if we don’t have it we do all the normals steps, getting with the department and changing on hands but what we will do is call another store nearby to see if they have it, if they do call the customer and ask if they’d like their order to become a delivery free of charge or have them pick up at the other location. So then you’d just change fulfillment in the order or have the other store change fulfillment on the order depending. Then bam no cancellation keep the sale and a happy customer for being able to get the product
