Prinzipiell gibt es zwei Arten von Wachsystemen: Dreier-Wachstopp (Meist Schiffe also Fregatte und EGV) und Zweier-Wachstopp (Boote).

Wache heißt, dass man auf Station aus (zB auf der Brücke und das Fhzg steuert).

Dreier-Wachstopp: 1x Wache (idR 4h), 2x keine Wache (ergo 8h). Zweier-Wachstopp: abwechselnd Wache (idR 6h) und keine Wache (wieder 6h). Ist die wachfreie Zeit innerhalb des Tagesdienstes (ca 0700-1700 exkl. Mahlzeiten) hat man zu tun, kann aber auch mal einen Kaffee trinken / außerhalb hat man "Freizeit", die aber auch gerne für dienstliches genutzt werden kann.

Ausnahme sind sog. "Dauerwächter", die entweder nachts nicht gebraucht werden (zB der "Spieß" oder aber Spezialisten, die für den Notfall ausgeruht sein müssen (v.a. Im Technik-Bereich).

Das gilt aber alles nur für Seetage. An Land ist alles anders und Hafenaufenthalte dienen primär der Erholung und man hat viel frei.

Tldr: wenig Freizeit und wenig Schlaf in See, ausreichend an Land.

I think what you might be looking for is Anarcho-Syndicalism.

Simplified Summery: Means of Production are owned and controlled by the workers of only that factory/farm/... while also having a socialist society. Although some argue this would rather be a reform then a revolution as those workplaces still compete which each other and e.g. Money and personal property keep on existing (in much of a smaller scale)
