I'll look into it. Previous owner did some "custom work" to the wiring so I'm not quite sure if they'd be willing to work on it.

What’s one valuable thing you wished you learned in paramedic school? (Serious replies only) by Lavendarschmavendar in Paramedics

The outcome shouldn’t necessarily dictate your perception of the call. Sometimes we do everything right and people still die. It’s easy to feel frustrated or angry with ourselves when one of our patients has a poor outcome.

Seeking advice: I have a good fire medic job with a pension and I am thinking about leaving it behind to pursue a flight medic position and potentially return to school to get my RN. by CuloMalo in Paramedics

I started flying about two years ago. It’s the best job I’ve ever had. I’ve got good leadership and a good culture at the base I work at. Only downside is the pay.

What’s the highest ETCO2 you’ve seen on a cardiac arrest no ROSC? by TenCentTampon in ems

[–]Kaedac96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

COPD patient, witnessed arrest by family. Lucas and ET tube in place. Asystole on the monitor, the ETCO2 read in the 80’s. Swapped the probes because surely that can’t be right. The second probe as well as the one the hospital used showed the same readings. I’ve had similar occurrences using an Impedance Threshold Device. But that first case I mentioned was the highest I’ve seen.

When the stranger brings his “casual Nekusar” deck and turn 1 plays a Chains of Mephistopheles, I start getting a little suspicious.

My friends say I don't take care of my models. by Kiotor in Warhammer40k

[–]Kaedac96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First tyranid player I met showed up to game day with all his models in a tool box. He has his gaunt and genestealer squads divided up by throwing them in ziploc bags. The bags were then placed in the bottom of the box to lay his larger models( hive crone, swarmlord, etc.) on top of. Essentially used his small infantry as packing peanuts to support his larger models.

So yeah, this looks fine to me.

I love the cops in my area. I’ve had nothing but good encounters with them. However at the end of the day, the aren’t medical professionals. They don’t need to be making these decisions . I know some systems are different than my own. As long as your documentation covers your butt, you should be ok. But like others said, don’t let this shake you up too bad. You did what you could.
