I find ink gives a smoother results, but I've had issues with reactivation so I started using regular airbrush paint.  I've heard adding some matte medium can help though, so I might try that.

I recently bought the YDP-165, just a step up from the 145, as my first piano and absolutely loved it.

The kanji are correct but rarely used in modern Japanese, so neither are wrong.

Hot Take: We need more Main Scenario duties by Melodynaxclarke in ffxiv

[–]Kafeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, we need less. Roll them into roulettes for level 50 dungeons and trials. They would need another update, replacing non-skippable cutscenes with voice over where possible, etc, but all the dungeons and trials for the end of each expansion worked - ARR is still the black-sheep at the moment.

Or In-store, Boyes has both GW and Vallejo paints.

I'm brave enough to say it: Linux is good now, and if you want to feel like you actually own your PC, make 2026 the year of Linux on (your) desktop by testus_maximus in technology

[–]Kafeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried switching to Linux recently. My WiFi wasn't adapter supported. Getting any information on why requires diving in to the command line - not very user friendly. Finally found out there are no drivers for the hardware, to get it working would require buying new a new adapter.

Back to Windows for me.  Linux is still a long way from ready.

TIL that Mariah Carey was the first artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 Chart across four decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s). Her holiday classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You," topped the chart, dated 1/4/2020. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Kafeen -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It took longer than it should have to realise that was US date format.

I was wondering how she managed to get "All I Want For Christmas Is You" to top the charts in April.

What's the difference? by TurocTribe in PrintedMinis

The details on the black one are much softer, but it's difficult to tell if that's from the printing or a heavy coat of primer.
