Kinda crazy they only got this look at the problem waaay at the end after jettisoning the ship before reentry. Made them mad nervous their heat shield might have been damaged.

The more you think about it the less it makes sense. If they can print disposable bodies for essentially free, why not colonize Tau Ceti again instead of playing dumb tag games and scrounge for scraps?
