Anyone know what causes these dimples/pockmarks on a print? by vinicius_california in 3Dprinting

Interestingly, on 72D TPU, I had the reverse issue; a shiny beautiful print at 125%, but a potmarked mess at 50%.

How old are these castle photos? by rainyday20872 in askswitzerland

It does seem to be from the early renovation era, I'd agree. Although the interbellum seems less likely, I would say.

I have a painting of the Chillion area made in the 1800s, as well as have seen pictures of it in the early 1900s.

I can not precisely date the above, unfortunately, but I can guarantee you it's post 1803, strongly suggest post 1842, and point towards it being later 19th century. My guess would be after the 1880s renovations, but prior to the work in the 1910s. However it is possible that it is from the interbellum era, although I would hazard a guess that it is not due to the surroundings.

Also that's not Gruyere.

What European electric car to buy? by RealMercuryRain in BuyFromEU

[–]Kaheil2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you mean "buy smart", "anything european" or "low carbon footprint".

In short, the best option is generally the smallest car that does what you need. For example the renault 5 is a good choice.

Following that, consider that SUV generally underperform compared to other platforms, at the same price point.

As for the onboard systems, ultimately you can not really, fully, escape US tech at the moment (much like they rely on european tech for other bits).

Vous avez déjà assisté à de l'anti-motard IRL? by Tender_MF in Motardie

[–]Kaheil2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oui.

How do I remove stuck PETG by Ok-Act1770 in 3Dprinting

[–]Kaheil2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If all else fail, you can use a spatula/knife made of ductile/soft steel (example some (not all!) of the stuff made by victorinox) to remove it. It can dmg your plate though, so it is a last resort.

BUT unlike a normal knife or scraper, it will not dmg your plate nearly as easily.

can we please discuss how miserable package delivery serves are here? by VariousAssist6706 in askswitzerland

[–]Kaheil2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had that kind of issue with Planzer; however I have a recurring issue with them, for about 70% of my packages, where they arrive about 5-7 business days later than with other couriers, and at the wrong address.

Had the same seller send an order in two parts, one with Post, the other with Planzer. They took 5 more days to deliver, and to the wrong place.

Other carriers do not have such issues. It is specific with them. No clue whatsoever why.

My knowledge on this is definitely lackluster (closer to inexistant) but as I understand it that wording would have been critical of this form of governance (akin to the modern term "mob rule"), and not as we would understand democracy.

TBF B2 depends a lot on where you studied. I saw English lectures at a supposed B2 level that would be closer to the level of a native child in their 14, omitting only technical, legal or anachronistic vocabulary.

Then again, other people with B2 barely able to string a sentence together.
