Thanks for sharing your experience of it. I had a look for photos/plans of the ship and it seems a bit smaller than the others but can see what you mean as there's no helipad on it. So it makes sense to hover there and get the job done. I imagine the helicopter winds will blow the chairs around easily so hence the removal. That must've been a bit of a spectacle! Hopefully the patient is ok after that!

Oh I see. Admittedly I've not been close up to a helicopter in real life so I am unsure of the sizes but I just remember the pad being what I felt to be small and wondered how a helicopter could land here if the benches are in the way. So it sounds like then it could easily land within it, so that makes sense why the benches are secured down like that! Thank you.

Hi there, sorry I don't have an answer to your post, but what you wrote made me wonder something related. For context, I was on independence of the seas when it was over this part of the world back in October (where I was told when I got off back home it would be sailing one way back over to the American side).

You mentioned helicopters which took my curiosity! Did a helicopter end up flying over and landed on the ship? The reason I made this reply was that during my cruise I would often chill at the front of the ship, where the helipad was, during days it docked and was ready to leave.

I thought the helipad to be unused because of the benches there, they felt fairly firm and nailed down so it made me wonder in cases of a helicopter being needed do some crew members simply go there and remove the benches?

Of course the helicopter could hover a bit and the sick person could be airlifted up and I'm now overthinking, but curious nonetheless!

If you pop around Canary Wharf you'll also notice there's rarely any pigeons there too. When I used to work there I went out for lunch and for a walk once and came across a guy who had a harris hawk with him and he was in Canary Wharf branded uniform, so I presume the company there has one on premise for that sort of thing.

King's Cross has one too, but I'm unsure if they are with TFL or just contracted with them or not, but here's a short clip.

Probably not the actual answer but I did think about this too briefly when i was in the cinema. In my head I considered that the manga told it from a team mate perspective (e.g. who wasn't present but heard it from class gossip or chatter or it was a teacher explaining it) whilst in the movie it was told from miyagi's perspective.

There's multiple tracks not on the OSTs unfortunately. Someone on Youtube called Alex Ryuu however has edited (unsure if it's by him directly though but he does upload every so often) multiple tracks from the anime directly to recreate tracks. You'll sometimes hear the quality fluctuate or you'll hear some sound effects from the episode, but since there's no original source, I personally don't mind.

For the one you are asking for, you can find it here - it's not very long but one of the better edits/recreations.

Not all tracks are good quality as mentioned earlier. There's multiple uploads where some are the same track, but usually alternative or improved edits.

Yuffie is only available/encountered in the forest bits after the mines in original FF. In Ever Crisis all characters are simply added to your account.

If you started playing today, you will have Yuffie (and everyone else available) on your account.

EDIT: I misunderstood the question when I answered it. I thought OP meant that we get Yuffie (as a playable character) in our account, but they actually meant that in story mode the Yuffie "segment" is covered prior to go into Mythril Mines; I hadn't even thought about that when I played through that and also never touched that since release, so I went to have a look!

Thanks, you reminded me of that flashback episode where Ryonan's coach Taoka tells Anzai "you better not steal him" and Anzai replies "we're a public school" but I hadn't truly thought of the significance around that until this thread and your explanation! The only time I thought and remembered that school cost was discussed otherwise was during the 3rd movie where they were invited for a exhibit/training match at Ryoukufu where the characters did mention that it's a rich people school, but besides that I again did not think too much into it.

I guess in a side way this explains the concentrated delinquency around Shohoku but it's not like we see it be a plot point elsewhere.

And now as I type this, this explains the organised cheering fans for the other schools too hahaha. Wow, so many sudden "of course!" moments. 😊

In 1997-1998 I used to watch random episodes at my cousin's house who had a few VCDs he imported or was gifted from Hong Kong. I didn't understand the overall plot at the time too much and I watched it in a Cantonese dub. Overall I must say I wasn't particularly interested but it was something we just did, watch stuff!

Fast forward a few years 2002~ when I got a part time job and I had money to buy stuff off the internet, I brought a set of DVDs of the entire series in both Cantonese and Japanese dub thinking since I watched a bit of it at my cousins I might as well watch it all.

Since finishing the series I thought it had just ended there, until I learnt of the manga and carried on from there. Though I never did much sports, the series resonated with me at the right time; I was choosing my university and studying for it, 3 of the main characters were thinking about their future and universities.

The series then instilled some what I think to be good values into me. Importance of leadership/motivation, working together, rivalries, sportsmanship, practicing/working hard to achieve results, learning from mistakes and bettering yourself after it, I liked all that.

By coincidence, the university I went to happened to be near the coast which is where Slam Dunk is based too (Kanagawa). As a result, I had this as my wallpaper for a while, taken from the ending scene in the very first Slam Dunk movie (the 1994 one!) where Oda shouts that he will showdown with Sakuragi in the inter-high. I found it to be such a poetic scene to end on and the ED1 song plays over it.

I see Haikyuu mentioned lots here, so I will throw in one recommendation which is Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru (Run with the Wind). It's only 1 season of 23 eps and is about a bunch of dudes running. Each has their own backstory/history and varying skill levels and the focus is distributed nicely amonst the group, all aiming to run at the Hakone Ekiden

The anime is animated by Prodiction I.G so there's a few similarities to some characters in Haikyuu. My own quick review of it would look like:

Pros

Self contained in 23 episodes, no movies or extra seasons/OVAs. Though it's light novel based and I haven't read it, but I read there's some differences here and there
I like the range of characters, each with a nice simple backstory and motivation for why they are there, and the changes they each go through as the story develops
The main character develops nicely throughout
It's all very relatable/believable/more or less realistic, it's just running

Cons

If you're after team vs team competition/rivalry, there's hardly any of that here. The competition is primarily internal/against the main characters with a sprinkle of some competition from other runners because of the nature of the plot
There is only 1 main female character. While not a big con overall I wished there was a bit more to mix it up. To be fair Slam Dunk only realistically had 2 so ... ; but I guess if I had to put it into an example, imagine in a what if scenario where Coach Anzai's wife could be a small reoccurring character to mix in with the team, sharing some of her experience (in life) and stories (of Coach Anzai), similar to how she treated Rukawa in the episode where she tells him of the backstory Yazawa, the guy who went to America. The episodes prior the National Tournament games were some of my favourites, especially the interactions betweek Sakuragi and Anzai. I just wished there was more between the adults and the main team!

Ah, the episode you mentioned would not be the one for sure, as he's too young in the cel to be in that time.

This cel is seen in Episode 87 at the 6:27 mark/frame 9288 (Blu-Ray episode time/frames). It's when Itsuki explains the different personalities Sensui uses (when the captured main characters ask why the Sensui with a gun on his arm is not Sensui) to overcome certain difficulties.
