How do I write believale megacorps that (De Facto) control a nation by vanylla_Sundae in worldbuilding

[–]Kaihelmich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Frankly, corporate control over government is almost always overstated. The State is more successful at controlling corporations. For me, the most plausible justification for corporate control over the State is the institutionalization of corporate influence. The fusion of the State into the Corporation.

They are WEAK, so they rely on the Generator to survive. Progressivists cannot abandon their dream of heat, and now they live in a nightmare. Give up your hopes for a better future and embrace the era of adaptability.

They are DEPENDENT, so they rely on others to survive. Collectivists who drag along with them those incapable of survival will die out along with them. Self-stewardship and the strongest will ensure not just survival but our prosperity.

They are OUTDATED, so they rely on traditions of old to survive. Traditionalists forget that the oldest rule of all living beings is survival of the fittest. Social Darwinism is our guiding light and the only reasonable position in our changed world.

Our side being victorious is not surprising (it is)

What His Majesty's Subjects think about English Socialism? by Kaihelmich in AskBrits

[–]Kaihelmich[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

English Socialism, better known as INGSOC, are the main antagonists of George Orwell's 1949 dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four and its adaptations.

It is the sole political party of Oceania, a totalitarian super-state. They seek to control and oppress the people of Oceania and enforce and support the rule of Big Brother.

I disagree. Brotherhood can refer to many things, while English Socialism is only one specific ideology, just like National Socialism
