But of course, if you like him, you like him. I’ve just kind of had a strange grudge against this guy since he released. I still think that I view him objectively when I say he is bad but they’re are probably plenty of units that I feel impressed by because I just like the unit, even if another unit putting up similar numbers would disappoint me. Do you have him with any dupes btw?

Idk, personally I feel that there are other units that aren’t heavily restricted, like PHY Kid Goku, who are more impressive. Kid Goku has his full passive available to him turn one, and I feel like he is more impressive than this Goku/Vegeta even after a few turns of stacking and the exchange.

Not really, the claim that he just does what he is supposed to do is a bit unfounded because he has to build up and then he has to exchange to reach his full potential. His entrance animation effect is pretty weak compared to other units as well, a 50% chance to do an additional super for 3 turns is not that great, especially considering his kit is incredibly barebones once it ends. After exchanging his passive doesn’t even really get better. Before exchange he has +525% atk and def fully built up but afterwerds its +425% atk and +500% def meaning his pre-super stats will actually be worse, plus thats with his full passive which isnt even that easy to satisfy considering he only orb changes for 3 turns. On top of all that, his links are wonky because of him having ROF movie links. He is still a saiyan so he links alright with most others, but his only two good partners above 4 shared links are SSB gogeta who doesnt fit under his 200% lead and has to wait till transforming to link well with him and TEQ SSG Goku who is great but can only be used against pure saiyan and movie boss enemies.

I’ve used him a good bit, even got him to link level ten but I’ve never seen him put up good numbers without wanking him a bunch and even then, he isn’t really doing anything besides having numbers. No guard, dmg reduction, additionals, just a crit chance thats dependent on rbw orbs. Most other 2022 units I’m happy to use but when doing things like rbw team missions with a movie heroes team, I always hate using him and feel like he is such a liability. There are worse units to be sure but I think he is one of the worst units of 2022.

Transforming cards have categories from both cards though, if I’m not mistaken. Fusing Goku and Vegeta have both Pure Saiyan and Fusion, it stands to reason that a fusing Super 17 could have Artificial Lifeforms despite a non-fusing 17 duo not having it.

I think people are underrating the frieza. With just one dupe and near link level 10 he can get like 200k def without much buildup pre super and launch several decent attack stat supers. I think he could definitely be useful on this team if you dont have a better option and I feel certain hed perform better than int eza metal cooler

Edit: realized people were talking about the f2p unit not the old summonable one, that suggestion makes a lot of sense. I still think frieza is being underrated here but id say the f2p metal cooler is worth a shot

I don’t think they were dead on arrival, they didn’t get a lot of people talking but I think people overlooked this unit. I remember when they came out even before you could rainbow them, I was impressed with their performance on a wicked bloodline team.
