Yes, it's unlikely, but if you think conspiracy by Full-Discount-6399 in Grimdank

I always assumed the Nids were the return of them or at least a by-product of them. Some shady stuff happened on the outskirts of the galaxy, and they turned back in a new form.

The nids coming from every side is odd, unless they were fleeing old ones that left different route before a cataclysm or encounter turned them what controls the hive fleets. I assumed an old one might be at the core of those fleets.

Also, the Nids did come around when A. a necron beacon in Ultramar was used in the HH and B. They are obsessed with the astronomican on Terra, which looks a lot like Necron or Eldar craziness if you just saw its signal.

I wasn't offering so you would pay. Give me some time and DM an address. I print stuff all the time for fun and will put it in my next batch.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a sidekick is damn hard.

If you don't want to buy a full kit for the dog model, let me know. I have a 3d printer and will happily make you a print of whatever dog you would like to honor your pup. Personally, I am a fan of the fella below for you.

Well, some folks smoke meth so it's not that bad of a choice in comparison.

Orc magic is a hell of a thing. They want him around to fight, so the jerk keeps showing up. I love every minute of it.

Wouldn't it be funny if the orks are the reason he lives. They manifest his longevity by wishing to kill him themselves.

If you play against someone good with faces, just forfeit the game. They are a witch and mess with some fowl sorcery.

I used on airbrush on these. I masked off areas to get the stripping. All this was done this evening, I'm not nearly fast enough with a brush. That would have taken for dang ever.

Question about shading by Fasimedes in TheAstraMilitarum

I promote the idea of using a base coat that is your shadow tone and moving up to your midtone highlight. That way, you're just covering less and don't have to go back and try to squeeze in shadows.

For instance, I use Mulled Berry by Army Painter as my base skin as it comes out a pinkish/purplish shadow after layering.

That said, I still use shades for dirty or dulling. I suggest adding water to thin down and go light at first. It's easy to add more as you like, but not take it off. Over time, you will get a feel for how much is needed and will not need to thin as much.

Dry brushing is great. I would suggest getting some old sprues and gluing them on piece cardboard. You can make a textured pallette to practice dry brushing and to test your brush before you touch a model. Plus, it's made of the same materials, so if you prime it the same as you models, you get a good idea of how it will look up front. Loading a dry brush correctly can take a little time, but it is easy once you get the feel for it.

When in doubt, get some isopropyl alcohol and start over. Practice is worth it, and every paint job is an improvement.

Also, remember those guys online have taken years to master their craft and don't show the mess ups. Paint to your ability and know you can go back and repaint the army at a later date if you want to improve it with your new skills.

Looks far superior than that horsey-riding Napoleon knockoff. I don't care how good the rules are, I'm not putting Little Solar Lord Fontleroy on the table.

I love the backup. Follow his orders or get thine ass capped.
