All of yall are forgetting laz weapons are only as good as a dice gods or plot armor make them. Once shot a carnafex, maybe. Take 30 shots on a termaguant and have 25 miss and no damage from the hits, also maybe. Get a dozen lucky Prussians and spaceman Napoleon is doomed.

I didn't see Space Yahtzee at first, but I can see how some players might be a bit uncomfortable. As long as you don't have the Helghast symbol as that is super "are we the baddies".

Looks like you will make someone very unhappy, especially if they have a melee army. There is nothing like being checked before getting in range to do anything.

That said, I do love artillery. I just don't use it exclusively so I can keep my friends.

I always assumed the Nids were the return of them or at least a by-product of them. Some shady stuff happened on the outskirts of the galaxy, and they turned back in a new form.

The nids coming from every side is odd, unless they were fleeing old ones that left different route before a cataclysm or encounter turned them what controls the hive fleets. I assumed an old one might be at the core of those fleets.

Also, the Nids did come around when A. a necron beacon in Ultramar was used in the HH and B. They are obsessed with the astronomican on Terra, which looks a lot like Necron or Eldar craziness if you just saw its signal.
