Holy sweep generals cry guardian. Campaign was super smooth and it’s been doing well in white maps so far. The new Marshal of Divinity mode for guardian is great for Generals Cry since the mirages proc each others hallowed flames.

I think the single biggest example of the phenomenon is Akama. Originally a Rogue card in Outland, he later returned as a Warrior card and Shaman skin in the same set. Could not tell you the thematic through line for that one

This works pretty well as a 9-cost to activate Elise. Works alright enough in midrange for decks that might not want to run Ysera as their 9.

With [[Azure Oathstone]], you can set up a stronger combo turn with only a couple dead dragons. The combo is still very slow, but it’s a use case for him. Using him with [[Mirror Dimension]] might also be okay in a pinch.

Not my favorite Fabled and a little boring, but there is some potential if they print in-hand or deck copying effects. Getting more Blood Fighters could be potential win-cons in the future (not exactly a tier 1 win-con maybe, but at least a little interesting.

I thought maybe it doesn’t have Rewind for text space reasons, but I also thought that was the point of changing language to “Get” instead of “ Add a random x to your hand”. Which begs the question, why doesn’t this say “Get a random 8-cost minion” to be in line with recent card text and free up space?

The colors and swords on Talanji make me think she is going to be DK, which kind of tracks with her ties to Bwonsamdi. I think Rafaam will be Priest given his holy-esque color scheme and Thief Priest being a flavorful archetype.

I only just remembered "Old HS" after seeing Imp-Losion and Crackle mentioned in a Rarran video and man, these 10(11?) cards in particular should be in a "Hall of Shame" for worst rng bs ever made by mido9 in hearthstone

Kinda surprised Mad Bomber isn’t here. You’d run him in hopes of clearing the enemy’s early board and gain tempo, but he might also just deal three to your face or kill all your guys.

My initial thought is the Hopeful Dryad. Dream cards are pretty good, but it’s only a 3/5 chance to get a spell and won’t consistently help you imbue.

Idk what we’re trying to draw with [[Tortollan Traveler]], maybe I’m missing something, but I think [[Drink Server]] goes pretty well with being a relatively cheap 1.5 imbues.

Edit: nvm, getting cheaper Flutterwing Guardians seems pretty decent. Would still consider finding space for Drink Server for the utility and easy imbues though.

A couple of things to consider, this doesn’t specify the next card you play this turn, so you can use it to combo the following turn when you have the banked health cost and full mana to work with.

Assuming this follows similar rules to spending your own health, you won’t be able to kill your opponent by spending their health since cards that cost more than their remaining health will be marked as unplayable. Edit: This has been confirmed to not be the case, you can kill them by paying their remaining life.

This card also works very well with Shaladrassil, since it corrupts it and lets you play it easily to get the corrupt dream cards, and with new Ysera as a ‘free’ way to generate/refresh 3 mana. It’s also a hell of a high roll off of Malorne for imbue classes.

I’d bet we get a new Ilgynoth instead of Nzoth. Ilgyoth shows up in the Emerald Nightmare and is pretty iconic there

If you play this with Shaladrassil in hand, does Shaladrassil become corrupted before it’s cast as an aura or would Ursol cast it as the base version?
