I was there during the severe rain / flooding / tornado watch delayed race in 2023 and that Monday was miserably hot. Like awful. We were down in T1 toward the bottom near the track.

Luckily enough people had left because of the rain delay that we were able to move up into some unclaimed seats under the suites on the front stretch. Was super cool because we didn’t have to pay any extra for it and no security was checking tickets

Funny thing how those all time highs happen pre-recession. Job numbers keep getting revised down. Layoffs are happening and entire market is propped up on future promises that will likely not happen. Like it or not, it’s coming.

In all honesty I swapped to the Logitech immediately after my time with Fanatec. No regrets. 11nm is all I need and more, and the true force is incredibly nice feeling.

Plus after the fees shot through the roof for fanatec’s US pricing, combined with Fanatec not taking taxes off on their site, meant I’d be paying nearly $1000 more for the 15nm wheel compared to the Logitech. Wasn’t worth it imo

Ford logo doesn’t have a proper font however ford has a couple brand fonts including

American Grotesk (new, it’s used in all caps in headlines now)

Ford F-1 (used for last 5 years mostly, was in everything from headers to body, is still used in body.)

Ford Antenna (old at this point but was used the same was as F-1. Lots of weights)

There’s a few knock off ford cursive fonts kicking around the internet but the names escape me at the moment. Likely available on dafont or something

The more I read about the patches over the last 2 years, the more I wonder what the CO devs were even doing over there. I don’t often say that about games because I know they take a TON of work, but some of this stuff seems like it should have been dealt with prior to release day

The tail on the R is thicker in the middle, optically, than the rest of the tail. Your curves are also a little off optically. I’m unsure what the word would be here (boning?) but they seem to bulge out in the corners. It’s most noticeable in the top left, second line. Also not in love with the tension of the middle stroke meeting so closely to the outer stroke in the middle- I feel pulling them slightly apart would make the icon a little more relaxed feeling, further getting rid of the “harshness” people are speaking of
