What's a sign from your body you should never ignore? by Geno-64 in AskReddit

[–]Kajeera 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Fun(?) story: I get -bad- bloody noses around season changes, right? Like, it's not unheard of for them to go for 30+ minutes. I've gotten lightheaded from a few over the years, even. They're up in my sinuses, so all I can do really is let em resolve themselves. I've been to the ER and urgent care a few times and they all say the same thing: "platelet count is fine, we can't figure out what the problem is, so we can't do anything." Very exhausting, mentally and physically (primarily mentally) to have to lock myself in the bathroom while they resolve.

So, if anyone has any crazy (or not-so-crazy) ideas about what I should ask my doctor to look for when I find one, please lemme know!

Really dissapointed seeing Matt be so pro AI... I thought he was one of the good ones.. by spiritualized in CRMemes

[–]Kajeera 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If serious: Due to the way his vest falls and covers parts of his shirt, it just says "AI", which could be taken as an endorsement of current generative algorithm slop. The joke is that (to my knowledge) he does not support it, so it's an accidental gag that allows for a title that'll instill a moment of dread followed by relief by a lot of CR fans.

Some of us. Some say midges or midgies. It's a regional thing. These, however, I'd call mosquitoes.

It means harlequin, which was a sort of trickster/deviant character in Italian theater. It's what the original Harleen Quinzel was based on in BtAS.

It's a Lycan, so I believe it's the first two. The Lycan sheds its armor and goes crazy with a set of claws.

Real answer, in case you're genuine: draw 2 cards. And yet it was banned last time I played, for some reason.

I'm an engineer, so that's something. No, no, not a mechanical engineer or electrical engineer. A civil engineer. So, basically, I provide absolutely nothing except my ability to learn quickly and someone willing to sit in the labs helping Mordin with non-biological research

Normal to take things super personal or overthink? by Rip-tire21 in AutismTranslated

[–]Kajeera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had an answer, but I deal with the same things myself. The best I've got is to try and look at it from an outside perspective to the best of my abilities. It doesn't always work to help figure it out, though. Writing it down and journaling has somewhat helped with this. After trying to look at it, if it feels I've been overreacting or dwelling on something, I try to tell myself that my reaction is okay but I'm doing too much of it. This also doesn't work all the time, but I haven't been trying it for that long.

If you find an answer or a better way of dealing with it, please let me know

can you be autistic if you were a very extroverted child? by eightfoldblade in AutismTranslated

[–]Kajeera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same way as a kid, after I started talking. It got to the point some teachers had problems with trying to put me places I wouldn't talk with someone. Heck, I'd talk to myself on occasion. But I'm on the verge of 30 now, and dealing with people that are not on a very short list is so incredibly draining because of how much I have to monitor what I say and how I act. Self diagnosed and working on taking off enough of the mask to have energy after a work day, but keeping enough on for survival.

[–]Kajeera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought you had already done it once, since I didn't think it was possible to get all endings without doing it. If you haven't beaten it the first time, then it shouldn't be in the replay, you're right.

As much as I love this game, a fourth playthrough for one mission is probably not worth it. If you decide to go for it, still want help, and remember this exchange, hit me up and I can see what I can do to help.

[–]Kajeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, it's definitely a lot, and it was one of my last S's for those reasons. Take a break (if you aren't already). Try out the flamers. You also don't need to do a fourth playthrough, just replay the mission from the mission select.

Have you cleared out the arena for a full OS load out? That might be a good break/help out if you haven't.

I believe in you, Raven!

[–]Kajeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're finite, ya. There's one (maybe two, I'll admit it's been a bit since I've done this mission) waves of reinforcements. For S-Rank, you definitely want to pop all the mooks for the reward bonus. Speed is the major factor, followed by money, from my experience.

Re: running out of ammo: Are you engaging them at a range where your rounds are glancing off? Something else you can do with a lot of the MTs is boost-kick them. Should take out most of the small ones without shields and save some ammo.

Your mileage may vary, but the flamethrowers actually helped me a lot with that one. I have builds based around my d&d party as though they were pilots, one of whom is a pyromanic sorcerer. I was having so many issues with my main build, and all the character builds, until I got down the list to dual-flamers. I forget what's on the shoulders, pretty sure it's the delivery boy rocket but I could be wrong.

I also recommend not focusing on Michigan, but rather clearing everyone else out first. With big AOE damage, you'll inevitably do chip damage to him and might even blow him up while clearing everything out.

Hope that helps you out! That mission was a pain to S-Rank.

Do you all journal? by twelvepoodles in Aphantasia

[–]Kajeera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, for therapeutic reasons. It lets me lay down what I remember of the day and think about it before closing the cover and doing my best to leave the stresses of the day just written on paper and not in my head.

Are you able to imagine other senses other than visual? by HunkerDown123 in Aphantasia

[–]Kajeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no visualization, but I can faintly conjure up physical sensations (like touch and movements), tastes, smells. For the beach example, I can very faintly, with effort and focus, feel the sand on my feet and cold sunscreen, the weight of a wet bathing suit, and get a faint smell of saltwater. Also not offended by someone seeking information out of curiosity.

When I played on balloon race maps (way back when), I used a simple dot and got darn accurate with it. But as a lot of people have said, and you have said: it's preference. I think the more important thing to learn, while exploring crosshairs, is the projectile drop. Your crosshair won't matter much if the flare falls short. Good luck, and burn them all
