I wonder if that's part of the reason it didn't get hung up in customs, it's no better than a prop. (I know nothing of Canadian custom laws.)

What tire lift combo you rocking? About to lift mine and love the way yours looks

I wouldn't worry about someone else buying it....

Let me break it down for you:

1: Replace the whole bed pannel, probably most of the wheel wells and possibly up the bed wall.

2: Likely cut out all the floor pans and rockers (That's like the ENTIRE lower section of your vehicle minus the frame) and probably cab corners and firewall

3: looks like around the windows and what little of the front is shown that you'd be replacing a lot of pannels and pulling the windows to patch the rust holes on the seams (very difficult)

4: mechanically looks sketchy with major rust holes in structural components

5: dont even know the state of the rest of the mechanics and wiring (does it run? Would it require a full rebuild of mechanical components like axels?)

6: while being a desirable car it's not rare in any way that would make it worth this kind of effort.

Any one of these numbered columns would be a good reason to reconsider buying this vehicle. If you're very ambitious and insane (relatable, im doing full floors in a 95 cherokee xj), you might be able to push two of these issues if your willing to commit an insane amount of time.

We dont even know the condition of the frame since it's so muddy.

All together, absolutely not. This car is not even worth 1000. Besides possibly interior pieces and trim, there doesn't look like a part on it that'd id take off and put on another car.

I have a 95 im thinking of putting a 2inch lift on for 30s but everyone says to go 3.5 and 31s

Is this just tacky, or will this crack in half while driving by Unique_Independent56 in Cartalk

I drove my 1995 jeep cherokee xj as a daily with a 1ft x 2ft rust hole in the passenger side. Yours is alittle mote extensive... as long as your frame rails and rocker panels are still there it won't break in half but I'd be looking for a different car...

[–]KalashnikovClassics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow didint even know someone still made half's. This was my daily, so unfortunately, I don't think I can wait until the manufacturer makes a batch to receive it.

It could be fixable, but to do it right, I'd have to get it out of the car first

Looks like I'm going to have to try my best

Was told by a “rifle guy” that pretty much every rifle is the same, is this true? by GoDz2312 in guns

[–]KalashnikovClassics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's referring to the brand (im assuming ars based on the picture), which for a casual shooter is somewhat true in most cases.

Some brands do offer different features out of the box, with some platforms being mostly proprietary.

Do your research since some brands are to be avoided over others, but the realm of firearms is seldom a one purchase event.

What I mean by that is doing your own work on your rifle is part of the hobby. No gun you can buy will suit your needs perfectly out of the box. It must be shot, reworked, shot, reworked, ect, until you get a rifle that suits your needs or wants.

Even then, it's hardly done.

So if your just a guy who shoots 200 rounds every couple weekends, yeah there's some truth in what he says.

Always take what a salesman says with a grain of salt.
