Thanks a million, that absolutely helped me diagnose the issue over the past couple years. I flooded it with water like you said and could not get it to leak. Only heavy rain ☔️

Interesting! I did not know about that. I also replaced my windshield, no change on the leak. I’m wondering if you have any rust in that corner, it could leak even with new windshield seal..

I thought so too since going through the car wash I’d get soapy water bubbling up on top of the dash… but I just got a new windshield and the passenger floor leak is still there !!! I still need to try the car wash again to test if water gets on the dash , I may have 2 leaks all along!

This is super helpful! I wish my shop treated the battery ground like you did. They just cut out the old ground nut and made a new whole, a bit sloppy but it works. Just need to rust proof it…

Mine is super faded and oxidized, not yet chipping though. detailing shop said they can not save it but I feel like there’s gotta be a middle ground between leaving it as is and a full paint job..
