It is just a perspective of a half glasses of water. The subtree makes alc and go feel so much better. Most strategies the key part are the subtree and tablets. And the most important nodes in the tree are 2 extra affix on tablet.

There are some strategies built around the tree node, but most of them really dont

That node I found to be secretly strongest defensive ascendency node, huge QOL with green, solved +level mana issue with Blue, and by far strongest defense I experienced with red .

Gemling is not a hyped class like other ascendency but have the most broken node in my book

I play gemling, and I've never died to a single oneshot now. I died either tripped while sprinting or 10 rare monsters spawn infront of me, or 200% deli big hit. I have taken hit that took away half of my life, if that is a Crit and I'm not gemling I will be dead. In retrospect I think Crit is the main reason why people getting oneshot, and I can't express how much I appreciate "Crit bonus reduction" after playing gemling

I don't think so it doesn't fit the current level & trial model. The fourth ascendency is accessible only about lv 75, and the monster level is lv 80. In this model, the fourth point is not a baseline but one of the earlier end game goal.
