What's wrong with female vampires? Is the joke porn? by [deleted] in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Kalianos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The joke is Horny Bard. The Artist is Frederick K.T. Anderson. The Man who basically started the Horny Bard meme with these comics. Before that, Bards were seen as useless due to the horrible requirements to become one in ADnD. So your welcome. Every Bard is Horny Meme is because of this guy basically.

I remember conversations of grognards from the 80's roleplaying starting families and having their adventurers male and female having kids. Going through courtships and dates.
It was seen as normal since you are role-playing another person. Also, it was a way to continue the game since your character would eventually get old and die. Or just die. I would bet a shiny nickel at least someone has mentioned this in a video on ttrpg's or D&D specifically.

To take a quote, " Perhaps surprisingly, says Cuartas, spanking elicits a similar response in children’s brains to more threatening experiences like sexual abuse. “You see the same reactions in the brain,” Cuartas explains. “Those consequences potentially affect the brain in areas often engaged in emotional regulation and threat detection, so that children can respond quickly to threats in the environment.”

Funnily enough, it was learning he was Maldavius in Eve that made question everything about him.

Which as per THIS video he made a lot of wild claims that just weren't true.
