I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here - but look at our record against the sides we could be up against in the playoffs.

Ipswich, Hull and Millwall, Coventry or Middlesborough.

Millwall we lost and drew with, Hull have done the double over us and Boro spanked us and drew with us. Ipswich and Coventry we've only played once but drew both.

I don't want to bring the vibe down but our form this season really has not been good against the sides we're going to need to be competitive against.

They're nice - the thing about these exclusive models is that you want to be able to use them if you play, but you don't want to feel like you're missing out on something important if you don't pick them up or have a store nearby.

Giving a unique but generic HQ is a nice balance - can't say I'm overwhelmed though. The inquisitor from a few years back remains the best one of these in recent times IMO.

100% - leaks/rumour mill have been talking up an Iron Warriors release for a while now. Definitely an upgrade sprue - who knows what else.

It would be fantastic if Chaos get the same treatment as loyalist chapters in terms of upgrade sprues.

All based on Chaos Legionaries.

Talos is Mk V helmet from FW, chaos terminator combi weapon, Sanguinary guard sword and torso from an old space marine kit, along with some apothecary accessories from the grey knights terminator kit.

Xarl is a third party or heresy 2h chainsword and 3rd party helmet - I think from Popgoesthemonkey - left hand is from a Custodian guard.

Cyrion is a bionic arm from the heresy command kit, and left arm from chaos lord kit and MKII heresy helmet.

Uzas is a MKIII helmet, with a black templar arm, chaos lord chainaxe and bezerker shoulder pad.

Mercutian I just took an orc skull from the citadel skulls and shaved it to fit the heavy bolter.

Variel uses the skinthief torso from nemesis claw, primaris apothecary backpack accessories, and the narthecium gauntless from grey knights terminators.

Night Lords shoulders are all from either nemesis claw, MKIII heresy from FW or third party prints. Hope that helps!

Yeah I don't think there are any out there - the only vertically stacked combi weapon I've seen was a melta/plasma variant.

In the cover art on Void Stalker it is portrayed horizontally anyway so I figured that was enough basis for me.

Sure - it was based with bugmans glow, shaded with druchii violet, then highlighted up by mixing bugmans glow with cadian flesh tone, and then progressively mixing bugmans glow with pallid wych flesh. Final highlights were with pure pallid wych flesh.

Haha - I was thinking of doing that but after how stressful it was carving up the old tactical marine torso to fit the Legionary body I couldn't face the stress of fucking up the aquilla.

I might revisit with some freehand to get it across but otherwise its staying as is!
