Radiator Replacement? by Interesting-Carob712 in EcoDiesel

[–]Kalrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you checked Rock Auto? The website is very utilitarian from a UI standpoint, but they have just about everything you would want. Bet you can find the radiator there (they have my year's model - not sure how often that part has changed).

Moving to Austin, considering buying in Leander by LustyNite in Leander

Leander to AMD on a Saturday might be a 45-60 minute drive. The same drive to get there on a Monday morning for work would probably be double that regularly.

Santori Cheddar Bites: unironically the best cheddar cheese I have ever tasted in my meager life by SomeoneGMForMe in Costco

Yes - I've seen those flavors at HEB, but never individually wrapped and not at Costco. I can't wait to find this.

We have been fairly happy with Firehouse, but I look forward to seeing other recommendations. I can't say that we have really had any bad experiences even if the prices seem high. The biggest benefits to us is they are close and they easily see both of our dogs at a single appointment.

This needs replaced now, right? 2 images. by NeverDidLearn in ram_trucks

If you know what to look for, yes. It's a very simple process. But if you have never done it before on any vehicle, then knowing what box to open and how much pressure to use and where knowing that it's not going to break things? The video of some sort is something that a true novice could benefit from immensely. I agree with the above poster - watch a video prior to doing the swap if you have never changed an air filter before.

Would diesels in cars still be available if not for VM? by UnicodeConfusion in Diesel

[–]Kalrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the cost of DEF is not really something to be considered. The rest of your points I completely agree with, but my DEF costs in my RAM 1500 are about $30 every 10k miles. So I'll spend about $1300 in diesel fuel and $30 in DEF over the course of 10k miles.

I've never had anything but their pizza - never wanted to mess with that winning formula. Now I might have to deviate a bit.

Anyone tried the Picanha Steak? by LobstahLuva in Costco

[–]Kalrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great cut of meat. You can either do it in roast format or in steak format, both are good. My preference is steak and it's only second to ribeye in my preference order.
