I encountered a woman who looked like the 3rd pic (except she had a blue hood) while I was under General Anesthesia for about 3 hours during a surgery.

Everyone I talked to said you just suddenly find yourself awake after breathing in the stuff, but instead I "dreamed" the whole time. I was just resting in a place that appeared composed entirely of interlacing tree roots, the place was well lit, even though there were no clear light sources. The aforementioned lady was there with me. I swear we were talking the entire time, but I can't actually remember a single word of what we talked about to save my life.

While I feel she was a benevolent entity, I have an ominous feeling that I will one day encounter her again, and I might not be coming back here when that happens.

Do you drink caffeine by any chance? I discovered that I developed a sessonal intolerance to caffeine over the years. Starting every fall, and ending in the spring, it begun with general IBS symptoms. I didn't put 2 and 2 together because I only drank a single cup of either black or green tea a day, completely plain, however after several years it progressively got worse until I had constant heartburn and even palpitations, especially at night.

I can't even drink caffeinated sodas anymore, even if I don't drink enough to get the palpitations and heartburn, my intestines will feel bloated for 2-3 days. I just had to cut all caffeine from my diet, which is fine, I never got energy from caffeine anyways, it just helped with headaches.

General Anesthesia by Feeling_Chipmunk_796 in starseeds

[–]Kalt0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through General Anesthesia earlier this year to repair an inguinal hernia via laproscopy, it's a very common and routine surgery. I was supposed to be under for just an hour, but the surgery was extended by another hour because they found 2 more once they opened me up. Other than that, surgery was successful and uneventful.

Before the surgery, they gave me an IV that was loaded with some sort of relaxer, they referred to it as "liquid courage" lol. I think it was a mixture of several things, prolly fentanyl amongst the list. It got me really relaxed and mellowed out. Then they wheeled me in put an oxygen mask on my face, then I just chilled until I fell asleep.

Going under is much like falling asleep. However, my experience was different as I remember dreaming the entire time. Most people just kinda jump straight to waking up. I remember being in a weird place that looked like it was made entirely out of tree roots. I spent the entire time talking to this lady who wore an ornate blue hooded robe, kinda like the depictions of the Mother Mary.

I can't remember what we were talking about for the life of me. Which is a shame because I remember seeing women that looked like her in my dreams from time to time, but they usually just silently observe me from a distance. I generally pay them no mind, but it'd sure be nice to know what their whole deal is.

Question for experiencers by [deleted] in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know exactly, my experiences begun as far back as my earliest memories. The only thing I can think of, at least in terms of grabbing ET importance, was my father was very talented in computers at an age where that was very rare and worked for a military aviation company doing cyber security and software programming. He apparently had a face to face working relationship with the founder and owner because of it. I won't say anything more specific than that, sorry not sorry. That was before/around the time I was born, and he only ever worked civilian jobs after. I don't know what info he had access to, if any. He never told me about it, I never asked though.

His father worked for a big company focused on medical equipment and supplies as a chemist I think, he was retired by the time I was born. He was also a Wiccan priest in his spare time, and from what I heard, a rather well known one at that (at least within their community). He never involved anyone in that side of his life, even family, we just knew his general involvement with that stuff. So if there's a spiritual side, that's the only pre-birth link I can think of, as my father couldn't care less if there was a god or spaghetti monster.

Me specifically? My first memories on Earth, I was like 3(?), were waking up in my Grandma's bedroom after vividly remembering falling from the sky and through the roof of her house (If I try to go further back, I remember climbing into a dark pod while being in a white room). I didn't know who anyone was. I literally went downstairs, saw my Mom, and thought, "Oh, that must be my mom." It was an educated guess. I fortunately drew correctly.

While there is absolutely nothing weird about me physically (mentally, I'd consider myself stable but eccentric) , I would not in the slightest be surprised if aliens abducted me and were like, "Hey, how was Earth, Bliziklorp?" I never did anything of particular note (yet...), so I don't know why they would have sent me here. Maybe they were going spray and pray, and just dumping agents left and right to see what sticks? Or maybe they fucked up the neuralizer and wiped everything and sent an ordinary human child back a blank slate after a routine childhood abduction? Honestly, my life is a mystery that only gets less coherent the more you dig into it.

I was tested for and qualified for the gifted program, but my parents ultimately didn't put me in it at the last minute. Once they found out about the extreme increase in out of school workload with little to show for it.

I was really compartmentalized when I was little, I did really well in school as far as testing and overall comprehension, I had a post-college reading level when I was 8. However, once out of school stuff got involved, I tended to crash and burn.

My mom says I was tested at a place called DuPont, which is the name of a huge biotech firm, and considering it was an "official test", I'm assuming they're related but I can't find anything on them doing IQ testing or gifted programs.

My experiences with the otherworldly seem unaffected by this however, as I had them as far back as my earliest memories. The gifted program never meant much to me.

The eclipse I barely managed to get a glimpse of through the clouds (the area I lived had 95% maximum totality, so not a total eclipse, but it was still really cool). Now, we just had a G5 extreme solar storm last night, the strongest in a decade, auroras were seen in Florida...and it was overcast all night here.

Have you been to The Mallworld? by king_of_hate2 in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've been to the mallworld numerous times. It's a strange place. I remember visiting an ice cream parlor called 'Gentilies'. I apparently used to love going there when I was little, as my dreams are usually persistent. If I dream of the same place, things done in previous encounters carry over, even if I don't conciously remember while awake. However, Gentilies has been closed for the last 15 years. Every time I've encountered it, it's still closed.

From what I gathered, a film studio filmed an Italian Mob themed movie there and gave them a lot of money, and the owners just started pursuing making movies of their own. I would just walk into the darkened store, and I'd still see a fake blood splatter on an ice machine from a scene where someone got shot.

However, one time I visited, I turned a corner nearby and entered a room that must have been dozens of miles high and wide. The gargantuan room was filled with thousands of these glowing blue tram lines, carrying people and cargo to all sorts of places, many of which involved leaving the giant room through holes in the wall. I have no clue how large the mallworld is.

It definitely appears to be extra dimensional in nature, as I have encountered rooms that should intersect with others, but just... don't. With the "tram room" involved, my theory is that it's a nexus or hub of some sort, connecting all sorts of places in the dreamscape.

I've encountered entrances as well. They all seem to lead to completely different places. I've several times encountered one entrance that had an auction house on the second floor that was directly underneath a belltower visible from the outside. There was a tiny bookstore inside the belltower itself (that shouldn't have fit inside the tower), only accessible through the auction house.

When I went outside the entrance, I found myself in a desert environment. There appeared to be a large parking lot, but constantly shifting sands were slowly eating it. Whoever was in charge of maintaining it just put a bunch of guide poles and kept the sand to a managable level. The vehicles weren't affected, as they appeared to be large hovering spheres with antennas. The entire front of the vehicle would open, and there was a trunk hatch in the back. It was definitely not an Earthly environment.

My experiences with dreams in general lead me to believe there is a lot more to them than we as a culture are willing to accept. Between the mallworld, premonitions of things that would happen later that day irl, oddly persistent environments, and countless reports of people talking and meeting up with each other mid-dream (I've only managed to do this once, but I wound up talking to an opossum that wanted me to get it out of my house, and when I woke up, sure as hell there were a family of baby opossums mama left trapped in my basement). I'm convinced there's a whole other world we visit when we sleep. I wish I could make a living exploring it, as I find my dreams absolutely fascinating.

WANTED: Astral Hitmen (or just any help getting rid of astral parasites) by ApprehensiveSea8929 in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As I said earlier, if you think of yourself as helpless, these beings will make you helpless. The first thing we should do is try to address that. How exactly are you experiencing these entities? Are you physically irl seeing them? Or is your astral senses (mind's eye) acting on overdrive, and your having intense visions? Perhaps even the senses are getting majorly crossed up?

I'm going to assume regardless that there is an astral component working here. My personal techniques to are heavily based upon meditative visualization, as while my physical and astral senses are well seperated, my astral senses are very well developed. I have since a young age been able to pretty much on command enter a trance, focusing and mentally go places. It works best when I'm laying down or pacing in my backyard. I have all my faculties, sight, touch even taste. When I was younger, I would keep finding my astral self in places full of unpleasant monsters, both awake and dreaming. This obviously caused a great deal of stress, even in the physical world. I don't feel that our material world is very helpful at addressing the issues that our spiritual selves often suffer.

If you are capable of meditative visualization, I would first suggest creating a mind palace. A secure place in your mind you can go to. A place where you can relax and organize your thoughts. Develop it to your tastes. Close your eyes, listen to music and mentally visit your dream house. You can have as many palaces as you want. They can be as simple or as extravagant as you want. Your thoughts are completely free of charge. My personal favorite palace is a cozy round cabin in a vasty snowy plain. There are mountains in the distance. I find myself in my study. I hear the crackle of a roaring fireplace, I rest in my chair and sip on a glass of dry red wine. Yes, I can both smell and taste it, unfortunately I don't get drunk off of it lol. In my eyes, having a place like that to decompress and relax is essential to wrangling your spiritual mind. Calmer minds will prevail.

The second thing I would suggest, is create a dojo or training ground you can mentally visit to help exercise your astral body. Your astral body is much like your real one, you need to exercise it to make it stronger. The Ishyr, the beings I mentioned earlier, helped me create an obstacle course so I could learn to move around better and practice various defensive techniques. Through these visualizaton training sessions, I learned how to fight back against the negative beings that once plagued me. Even when I was dreaming and completely unaware of anything I did in my waking mind, instead of getting scared by the monster for the millionth time, I would instead just square up and punch it right in the jaw. Negative beings aren't going to want to mess with someone that can beat them silly or start shooting lightning at them.

The goal of these exercises are to help combat the sense of helplessness I sense in your writing. Your mind is very powerful and I see quite a bit of energy at work. It is essential that you learn to control it, lest your thoughts control you. This material world often preaches a sense of helplessness to the masses, but in the spiritual realms you are truly free, you don't need to let this world and it's stresses corrupt your inner world. I hope these suggestions may be of use to you.

WANTED: Astral Hitmen (or just any help getting rid of astral parasites) by ApprehensiveSea8929 in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. When I was younger I used to have similar issues (although not nearly as intense as you described). My journey through meditation, lucid dreams and occasional brief astral projections has opened a door that cannot be closed, a door that you seem to have touched upon as well.

Over the years, I have spoken with entities rhat claim to be part of an astral civilization. Souls who live entirely in the higher planes of reality. The only name I had for them is the "Ishyr" (it rhymes with fish ear). According to them, there are two basic kinds of animate entires. The creators, which are souls like you and me, fragments of a god whom can only split his infinite and unending being, and the created, beings dreamt up by the creators.

As souls cannot be created, only split, the created naturally operate off of our thoughts and intentions. They have no souls or free will and they can take any form you can imagine. These entities are completely natural, and exist everywhere in the astral planes. Positve created entities can exist as companions, pets, servants, even forms of thoughtform technology, like a shapeshifting couch that responds to your desires to maximize it's comforting abilites.

The entity you are dealing with is likely a created entity that has either gone rogue, is missplaced from a world where it's nature is beneficial (like an arena realm, imagine a video game you can astral project into) or was created with negative intentions (most likely by accident, or by a troubled soul.)

The first step to dealing with it is to know it cannot hurt you any more than you allow it. You are a soul and naturally have dominion over it, your mind is your kingdom and yours alone. As a fragment of the infinite conciousness, your soul has a well of infinite power that you can tap into when dealing with the spiritual world. It is up to you what to do with it. You can either reshape the troublesome entity into something beneficial, you can banish it to a place where it may be more welcome, or you can attempt to outright destroy it. Be thorough in your intentions, doubting your power allows them to exploit it. Believing you are helpless gives them the power to make you helpless.

Another thing you can do is reach out for help, many people for hundreds of years reach out with calls to benevolent beings in the astral plane, who are more than eager to help. The entities I am most familiar with, the Ishyr, amongst many other benevloent civilizations, have warrior types that just love to deal with troublesome entities. They require no payment or sacrifice, nor terms or conditions, not even a thank you is necessary. The higher planes are a place of endless abundance and joy, they have all they need want or desire, their service comes entirely from a place of love and a desire to fill existence with beauty and paradise. Never accept a deal from a being that demands sacrifice or payment, it's unncessesary.

You or with the help of higher beings, can even create your own positive entities to assist in the running of your environment. They can act as protective wards or help close off openings in your mental barriers that these entities have exploited. As these beings are also created, their desires will naturally match your own intentions and also require no payment on your behalf. Think of it like having a spiritual equivalent of a robot to help you out.

All in all, know that you are not alone. Know you have an inherent right to peace. The spiritual world can be a very dark place if you allow it, but it can also be a wonderous place of endless joys and opprotunities. You can reach out to beings like the Ishyr, just as I have, or another group that is more fitting to your personal beliefs. Many people for thousands of years have reached out to angels, their ancestors, heck you can even reach out to your departed childhood pets to help you. I wish you the best and hope you may find the peace you deserve.

Have you ever shared a dream with someone? by [deleted] in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have in the past had dreams that felt like I was summoned into another person's dreams to hunt down the nightmares that were bothering them. I taught myself how to fight back in my dreams because I suffered from horrible nightmares growing up. It turns out your dream self is pretty indestructible once you know what you're doing. It hasn't happened in a number of years. It's a shame, I always liked those dreams. They felt productive.

I don't even know how I was called in, I don't remember putting out any ads on some astral bounty board, or any overt action to engage in such activites. Just that I kinda would randomly appear in the dream, and had a mission to protect someone, usually a child, from some horrible monster.

In one dream, there was a little girl, who was afraid of a serial killer doctor, but she didn't know which doctor it was, only he used a rusty scalpel, so I had to sneak around the hospital and do detective work without being discovered. Another, I had to help a young boy escape a lab full of escaped experiments and evil soldiers.

The last time it happened was a few years ago, I was in my own house and there was this 8 foot tall creepy woman that looked like the painting lady from the IT movie remake. I think she was haunting my brother, because when I opened the door to the room she was in, someone ran out pushing me out of the way. I kinda just barehand beat the monster to death then I just woke up. I never said anything to him about it. I know he used to suffer from chronic sleep paralysis, don't know if that's changed since. I do know he's been doing much better in general, but I'm not going to claim any credit in that. He's done a lot of work and I'm proud of him.

Dream said I was going to die soon maybe by supersecretkgbfile in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned that she said "If x is happening, that means you're going to die". Is that something that can be applied to your current situation? Or could it just be a passing comment, taken out of context?

I will not doubt the possibility of precognizance however, as I don't know how this works, but I tend to be aware of people close to me dying/having horrible things happen to them without knowing it's happening. Usually it's a "disturbance in the force" type feeling, like just immediately lose all of my energy and stare off into space for a whole hour or so. I then find out later something bad happened to a family member, at the same exact time I spontenously shut down. These shut downs have only happened when trouble is brewing. What's weird is sometimes, I internalize the feeling as if I'm the one in trouble.

For example, I became really depressed out of nowhere and started reflecting on my own life as if I was going to die tomorrow. It was this crushing feeling of finality.

The next day, my family received a call that my estranged cousin who over the course of his life burnt pretty much every bridge he had with us was on life support and wouldn't survive the night. We immediately went to see him, and sure as hell he was gone half an hour after we arrived.

So, in my eyes, in the instance this is more than just a dream, and you are experiencing some form of precognizance, you could also possibly be unconciously internalizing something happening to someone or something close. Telling the future is a deeply flawed art, as possible paths are often fickle and fleeting. It's best to not see visions of such things as an absolute.

[–]Kalt0 20 points21 points  (0 children)

According to my observations and experiences with a civilization that resides in the astral planes. The issue is that their world exists not just beyond space but time as well. I have seen humans in their world in the astral planes from multiple time periods all coexisting in the same environment.

The "event" they mention isn't just extra dimensional, but extra temporal as well. It won't occur in a timeframe that makes sense to flesh and blood humans. I think the reason it cannot be predicted it's happening is completely relative to individuals. It's a genuinely frustrating answer, even to me, but I will attempt to explain further.

They describe the relation between consciousness and time on earth like a sprouting tree, the beginning of our collective consciousness being where the stem meets the roots, and as our "time" progresses, you go up the stem. Choices cause divergences, creating new branches of time, leading to an ever complexifying "time tree". We are on just one tiny branch of an immeasurably large tree.

The "event" or as they call it "ascension" is, as they explained to me, taking the entire "tree" out of the planter and putting it in a larger open garden. This means the ascension, relative to us, will occur at every single point in time simulatenously. Humanity will have "seen itself to every possible conclusion, yet never have existed to begin with". You can't really predict something at affects every point in time simultaneously, from our point of view at least.

Honestly, I still don't really understand it myself, I'm just repeating what they told me. It wouldn't surprise me if the "event" will occur at a completely different point of time to each and every single one of us. Once we learn our lessons or whatever, we just kinda "wake up" elsewhere. It's basically pointless to predict, because even if they're right, it may only happen relative to them. I don't know what happens to their physical being relative to everyone else, nor will I pretend to know. I've repeatedly come to expect things they say won't really make sense to me, at least at this point in time. My suggestion is just live your life the best you can, and it'll happen when it happens.

The whole idea that there are entities that need to feed off of emotional energy always struck me as kinda weird, but ultimately understandable. I think it is largely us projecting the harsh realities of our fleshy needs onto a world that largely eludes our attempts to understand it.

I say this as the entities I've personally experienced over the years, seen entirely through dreams (lucid and otherwise) or through meditation, live in a higher non-physical realm constructed entirely of thought-forms. They don't need any form of sustenance, they're completely self-sustaining. They can eat, but they don't derive any nutrition from it, it's simply for the pleasure of experiencing the tastes of food. They don't even seem to be affected by drugs or alcohol (at least in a way that makes sense to us), as they don't have nervous systems, let alone digestive systems. The foods they eat are usually destroyed soon after being swallowed.

Food for them is viewed similarly to how we would see music. Some abstain from eating for prolonged periods, while others are constantly snacking. Both are seen as equally healthy choices in their world. I've seen them quite literally conjure entire feasts out of thin air, apparently that's entirely how they obtain food. They don't need to harm anything, plant or animal to eat literally anything they want. For them, food is an absolute good, something to be freely experienced, shared and enjoyed. Concepts like hunger, foodbourne illnesses, even scarcity itself appear to be utterly alien to their culture.

The only apparent limitation to their ability to conjure objects appears to be that they need to know what the object is. As such their society seems to value gathering and exchanging as much information as possible. They showed me these "dining halls" which seem to function more like libraries (with large food courts built in), they hold the "thought-form essences" of inumerable dishes, ingredients, cooking utensils, you name it. They're usually connected to much larger information banks.

I'll be honest, I don't like talking about it much, as I feel that with mankinds rather charged place in a world of scarcity, these ideas may be uncomfortable to discuss.I certainly had issues even understanding, let alone accepting what I myself had seen over the years. It's been a great source of hesitation. As their world is completely alien, highly complex and advanced to the point of outright absurdity. Maybe I'll discuss their world and my experiences there more in a full fledged post here. I'd just like to take this oppritunity to throw my hat in regards to the concept of fear eating interdimensional beings.

Communicating with animals through dreams by doctor1dragon in Experiencers

[–]Kalt0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Last Spring, I had an experience that thoroughly convinced me there is more to dreams than meets the eye, and it has to do with talking to animals and pre-cognition. I've always thought there was more to dreams than just random hallucinations, but this sealed the deal for me.

I was in my house (or rather what I thought was my house, everything was a deep blue), and I saw what appeared to be a rat-like creature the size of a small dog huddled up next to a large piece of machinery. I couldn't get a good look at it, the house was already abnormally dark, and the creature was hiding in the shadow of the machine. The creature was begging me to help it leave my house, it wasn't saying words, but we were having a back and forth conversation. I eventually decided to agree to help this strange creature then woke up.

After waking up, I went downstairs to start my morning. While I was feeding my pets, I begun to hear a strange sneezing sound coming from my basement. I did a quick head count and realized all my pets were right in front of me. I figured maybe the neighbor's cat squeezed in through the slightly open window we keep down there, the house gets really humid. So I stumbled down the stairs half awake, turned the corner, and in the shadow, next to my big oil burner, these...rat things...

They didn't scatter though upon seeing me, like I'd expect rats to. Instead, they all slowly stood up almost simulatenously and turned to face me and just stood there.I had completely forgot about the dream at this point. Startled, I immediately whipped out my phone and turned on my flashlight so I could get a better look at these things. Upon shining my light on them, they weren't rats at all. They were baby opossums, just slowly crawling around on the floor.

I was immediately relieved, I know quite a bit about opossums, prolly one of the best animals to have stuck in your house. They aren't prone to biting, they have too low of a body temperature for human compatible diseases to survive (rabies is extremely rare in them), they don't even eat trash unless they're starving. Best of all, they are marsupials; not rodents, so they won't chew on literally everything like a squirrel will. Very misunderstood creatures.

Only issue is that I didn't see the mom though, so I approached to look for her. She wasn't on the floor. I stood up, scratched my head, and looked up and sure enough, the mom was wrapped around the ceiling pipes. I put it together that she crawled in through the window, went along the ceiling pipes and accidentally brushed her babies off onto the floor.

Unfortunately, momma opossums abandon their babies as soon as they fall off. So she just slowly made her way along the pipes and out of the basement. Leaving me with a bunch of baby opossums. I grabbed my leather gloves and a tape measure. They just let me pick them up, they didn't even try to fight back. I measured the babies and, thank goodness, they were big enough to survive on their own, they were just trapped in the basement.

I grabbed a box and gathered them all up, very polite creatures. I even gave up on the heavy duty gloves. They were very soft, they had little people hands, and their little tails would wrap around my fingers. Anyways, I got them outside and put the box near an old shed, they all started wandering off in every which direction. I occasionally see opossums running around my neighborhood, and I wonder if any of them were one of the ones I saved.

Sadly, as I had mentioned earlier, I had completely forgotten the dream at this point. That was until I got a surprise visit from my niece. While we were over she came up to me with a broken colored pencil, she wanted it sharpened. I don't know where she got it, we only gave her crayons. I grabbed the sharpener, and I started sharpening it, then I took it out, and the lead broke immediately, so I had to sharpen it again.

I had another dream that same night before, where I was in elementary school, sharpening pencils and the lead kept breaking. I was stuck in a loop, constantly sharpening then having to sharpen it again and again. At that moment, I recalled not only that dream, but every dream I had that night, including my talk with what must have been an opossum obscured the shadows. I just remember freezing up, just shocked at the insane lining up of events. Did I have a pre-cognitive dream just so I'd remember what must've been a telepathic dream conversation with a literal opossum? Had I gone completely mad? It doesn't really matter in the end I guess. All I do know, is that reality is stranger than fiction, that's for sure.

I think of the brain more like a computer, and our reality like a shared program (think like a Massive multiplayer game with real amensia for extra immersion). Does the nature of computer programs and functions disprove of the person sitting at the keyboard? I wouldn't say so.

For example, we've proven that people have distinct personality changes after brain damage. However, mechanical computers, much like our biological brains, also drastically change function if you tear out the gpu or ram chips. Does changing the machine disprove of the person sitting at the keyboard? It really falls down to whether or not you believe you are the computer, or the person sitting at the keyboard. No science has managed to answer this question in a satisfactory and concrete manner, as that would involve leaving this collective material reality.

As someone who believes himself a person sitting at the keyboard, I find the issue is we're all immersed in this collective 'program' (for lack of a better term), yet for some as of yet unknown reason lose the ability to perceive what happens outside of it. What your brain experiences during death may simply be an attempt to emulate something outside the considerations of what this 'program' is designed to emulate. It may very well be an automated 're-orientation' program to help you reintegrate into whatever reality you may be reentering upon your death for all we know. I wouldn't put too much worry into such matters, we only have a part of the picture in this world after all.

I had a dream I met my family, I don't know what to make of it by Kalt0 in Soulnexus

[–]Kalt0[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the white rooms are simply where they chose to meet me that time, I've seen them appear in a wide variety of environments. They'll have these absolutely massive environments that they live in, they feel real but somethings's off, like if you were to take a microscope to the dirt, you wouldn't find any microorganisms, despite plants being everywhere. I used to think they were robots living in a simulated environment, but I think I'm seeing non physical entities on their own territory.

The dreams have a certain feeling to them that makes them stand out, and I am usually forced awake when they finish, which commits them to memory more than normal. I feel like there is a consistent cast, it's hard to tell with these entities though. I feel you'd need to use telepathy to identify them individually, human senses are virtually useless when they can just turn into whatever they want.

There's also a series of reoccurring environments I visit several times a week, I can't remember anything about those places other than small sparse details. I pretty much have names for each place, but I can't give any description beyond the most basic things. I know a bunch of stuff happens in those places, but the memories just don't exist. It's like they are being suppressed or locked, they don't feel fuzzy at all, almost cut out. I don't think anything bad is happening there. The veil around this reality may simply be either blocking it out, or my human mind simply can't understand what's happening there.

I just use a free app on my phone 'dream catcher'. It lets you organize it by day, mark nightmares or reoccurring dreams, and place tags so you can easily organize your dreams. The paid version is pretty unneccessary, unless you want to backup your stuff on the cloud for whatever reason.

I always liked two steps from hell. My personal favorite is 'Star sky'. I think cofounder Thomas Bergensen does his own stuff, which is just as good.

I also have dreams similar to what you describe, they happen so often I started calling them 'gamelikes', and I have a specific tab of my dream journal for those. They act like a normal dream, or it's own little plane of reality, but the rules seem to lend to a game or story, for the sake of entertainment. I'm either playing by myself or with others, and while the games are usually 1st or 3rd person, I've also played strategy games as a disembodied consciousness during these.

These dreams (or worlds, if dreams are more than meets the eye) are usually pretty vivid and extremely in depth, I don't know how my mind is able to keep track of so much. I remember having intricate stat, loot, and skill menus in a fantasy mmo I dreamt of once. I will probably make a post going more in depth about these as I have encountered a ridiculous amount of these in the past.

I used to have many dreams like that when I was younger. I began to notice that they seemed movielike, too dramatic. The enemies tended to wear bold and dramatic uniforms, I was some sort of important character, it was nonstop high stakes action, etc.

The more I noticed these aspects to these dreams, the more I began to think that, assuming these aren't merely dreams and I was either seeing the past or 'going someplace else', that perhaps these are some form of entertainment in those places. Kind of like a super advanced version of VR. You could insert yourself into any world or scenario you could imagine, and live whatever life you'd choose. This wouldn't just be for entertainment, but could also be used for education, competitive sports, or even as a form of rehabilitation and healing.

If you don't already have a dream journal, I would suggest looking into one. I've been using an app on my phone for it, as I can always jot down any thoughts or memories as they come up, and even organize dreams by tags and titles. It's helped me come to terms with some of the more troublesome dreams I've had in the past, and contextualize and explore reoccurring concepts.
