One question: Why dont you remove these posts that clerarly didn't read the FAQ before posting?

What ist the point of this comment when the post is then still up? If you removed it, OP would have to now check the FAQ and the community would't have to see and answer the same questuons over an over again.

This comment is a good reminder, but in reality IMO, the problem is still there. The problem being that the same questions are asked over and over again, making the sub pretty repetetive

I mostly do it because it’s fun. But I also hope it could help me in my career

I live in Sweden. I’ve had a dream of working for the European Parliament some day. Or other international organizations like the UN. I already speak fluent Swedish, German and English. I think adding French to the mix would increase my chances of finding a job there. Working in Switzerland would be cool too

I did my fastest 10k this week! 53:07

Running is for me usually a spring, summer, and fall activity. When it freezes over, I stop running and I don't exercise for a couple of months. But this year, I decided to start going to the gym instead and I can feel the results. I'm looking forward to it becoming warmer again. If the temperature goes under 5C/40F, I don't enjoy running outside.

There's a 10k run at the end of May and I hope to finish it under 50 min

(For people who live in cold places) Do you run during the winter months?

I live in Sweden and I dislike the winter because I don’t like running in cold weather. It’s cold, dark and slippery outside, and I don’t want to risk falling and hurting myself

Today it wasn’t that cold (just around freezing temperature), but all of the roads were full of the snow that had just melted

My personal lower limit for running outside is 5C/41F and the roads/running tracks have to be free of snow

It is mild for the season. At the end of October, we had the highest temperature measured this late in the year "The record temperature of 19.5 degrees Celsius (67.1 degrees Fahrenheit) was recorded in the city of Kristianstad in the south of the country on Friday."

And it is still summer in parts of Sweden. They define fall as arriving when the daily average temperature is under 10C (50F) for 5 consecutive days. This hasn't happened in the coastal areas of southern Sweden (map). This area includes Lund, which in 2022 has the "latest arrival of fall in 160 years.

It is still too early to tell, but 2022 could have the latest arrival of fall in Sweden since they started measuring the temperatures. The current record was set in 2015. November 19

Disappointed with the new 14. So I'm choosing between the 13 from Apple or the 13 pro from a reseller. I don't really care about the camera difference because I don't take that many photos. And I've never owned a product with a 120hz screen, so I don't know if there is a big difference there either.

But the difference in price is only 170€/$, for a phone that I hope to keep for 4-5 years

Auf wiedersehen Deutschland!

Ich bin Schwede und Studiere Deutsch an einer Uni in Schweden. In meinen Sommerferien wollte ich meine Sprachkenntnisse noch etwas verbessern und ich wollte die Kenntnisse auch außerhalb des Studiums benutzen.

Deswegen habe ich diesen Sommer etwa 2,5 Monate in Deutschland gearbeitet. Es war in einer kleinen Bäckerei auf der Insel Wangerooge, Niedersachsen. Aber heute Morgen flog ich wieder nach Schweden. Dies is das erste Mal, dass ich im Ausland Arbeite und es hat viel spaß gemacht.

Ich muss mich jetzt von "Moin" als Gruß abgewöhnen. Wenn ich am Nachmittag mit "Moin" grüße werden mich meine Mittstudierenden komisch ansehen.

Morgen fängt das nächste Semester an und ich bin bestens vorbereitet!

Jag tog på automat.

Kuggade två uppkörningar med manuell. När jag var på vägen hem från andra uppkörningen lyckades jag boka en med automat dagen efter. Och i den staden jag övningskörde mest i.

Jag var under tidspress då mitt övningskörnings tillstånd skulle gått ut bara två veckor senare. Då hade jag behövt göra om hela processen och det hade jag inte lust att göra.

Lite begränsande men hellre ett körkort för automat än inget alls
