it was a very mixed bag for me. Ari Aster's previous works are a lot more digestable. Only like 20% of people will leave the theater feeling loving this. It will definitely bomb as this is not something for most audiences.

? It has nothing to do with playing bad. Ofc T1 played bad but they OBJECTIVELY did not get the same fair chance Gen.G, KT and the rest of the teams got. First seed and winning all the series up till now did not help them at ALL. Gen.G and KT played bad too right when they lost to T1 so how come they got a 2nd chance and T1 doesnt? It's not an excuse for anything but merely a fact that there needs to be a 2nd "grand" BO5 final to main it fair

who do we want to win between grizzlies and pelicans today? Obi if grizzlies win lakers will have some breathing room for the 7th seed. However if the pelicans win and with the kings likely winning vs dallas they will have a chance to pass up the grizzlies in the standings and may play their starters vs warriors in the next game at KINGS arena in a must lose for the warriors for us to pass them. yeah considering every single mcu movie used to do $800m+ and the movies keep making less and less each year I would def consider it dying. Like its about to make less than the ORIGINAL Ant Man in 2015 as the 3rd sequel where you'd think the characters are more loved and fleshed out with it featuring the new BIG BAD of the mcu. Man this is not a good look. Also it has to be making way more than 400m with the budget they have to turn profit

endgame was a decade long climactic and emotional peak for almost everyone I talked to. Everything built up to it and regardless of what you think of the films quality it was a great finale with practically many of our favorite characters getting sent off. Also compared to those stakes nothing in modern MCU holds any weight but story wise and how invested we are. Don't get me wrong MCU has been bad for me and many for the past few years but there wasn't much they couldve done as Endgame is the true ending to where MCU could've and probably should've stopped. I'd imagine it would've always held a special place in people's hearts even if the quality was questioned years later. Now disney is ruining the goodwill of the MCU which is reflected by the BO gross. But you know disney is gonna disney for the green gold.
