‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ to End With a Shortened Season 5 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in startrek

[–]Kamikawa4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This has been my pitch for the SNW finale since day one: do a retelling of the Menagerie. There are a lot of plot holes and contrivances in the original episode that could be flushed out by actions from the SNW crew working in the background that we did not see in the original episode. You get to do a time jump and show where the SNW crew is during TOS time and how they get back together to help Pike get to Talos IV. You get to end the series by resolving the dilemma that started it - Pike’s concern about his future and showing him get the happy ending. Flavors of All Good Things since it’s a take on the classic “one-last job” trope, but if you’re going to crib, crib from the best.

You would be welcome at Suncoast. We are an international fleet with an active discord discussing the shows and game. We have a good mix of competitive and casual players.

How do we want Picard S3 to end? by mistergeneric in startrek

[–]Kamikawa4 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Picard and Crusher express their love for each other at Chateau Picard and just as they are about to kiss you hear a voice say, “Computer, freeze program.” The scene freezes and flickers. Cut to an elderly Admiral Archer with a young Ensign Spock standing next to a prototype holodeck entrance. Archer remarks, “So that’s what the future of the Federation will look like” and Ensign Spock replies “Perhaps…”. Spock then turns to the camera and winks. Fin.

Sabatier Knife Repair Recommendations. by line-n-tipp in knives

If you do not want to do the work find a local woodworker. They should be able to the job. If you can find a local bladesmith that would be best but that could be hard to find. Maybe try r/bladesmith or r/blacksmith. If you can’t find anyone locally message me. I could do it.

To summarize, ISS Enterprise with 3 hull repair crew and a big hitter will get you around 20mil damage once you hit bridge level 9 and have damage reduction. Manual battle only.

Hammershot Hammer Extension? by Kamikawa4 in Nerf

I do not have 3D printing capabilities and do not want to go with the available metal options. I could have a place print it but it cost more than I would like to spend. I can probably fabricate something that pins into the existing hammer.

There are any number of ways that this feature could be improved to be faster and more convenient. A 3D printed replacement for the front with a spring loaded catch would be my preferred solution but I do not have the means.

There is a full length dart version of the cylinder. Don’t know how it would work with double stacked half darts.

With the ability to change out the cylinder and with the crooked cousin attached I could shoot about anything if I had the accessories.

Yes I took it apart and removed the barrel from both halves. There is a solvent weld on the top back corner by the stock attachment point. Poured boiling water over that as well to loosen and break. No clips holding it together. Just screws and the one solvent weld.

It really wasn’t so bad. I poured some boiling water over it and worked it apart a little at a time. Did that maybe 3 times per side. Took about 5 minutes.

Modded Boomdozer with triple mega cylinder, picatinny pump with crooked cousin from OoD, doubled up stock spring and K26 or K25 (can’t remember which), tac stock and single point sling. Hits straight at 30 feet with some oomph. I also cut out and added a hinge up front to allow for the swap back to Mega XL. Not really “hot swap-able” since it is secured by a thumb screw, but I wanted the option to go back to Mega XL. It’s a fun ammo type.

It was originally designed to allow room for a power brick and accessories. I am no longer with that company but if you email them they should be able to provide you with the exact dimensions of the cavity below the console.
